H. MOSER & CIE. – ENDEAVOUR Perpetual Calendar Purity Cosmic Green Dial Edition

H. MOSER & CIE.ENDEAVOUR Perpetual Calendar Purity Cosmic Green Dial Gold Limited Edition

SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, UNDERSTATED, AUTHENTIC:
THE ENDEAVOUR PERPETUAL CALENDAR PURITY COSMIC
GREEN FROM H. MOSER & CIE.

Complexity made simple: this is the philosophy of the H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar – undoubtedly the purest, most ingenious and most practical perpetual calendar available. The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity Cosmic Green sees the Schaffhausen-based Manufacture pursue its carefully thought-out approach which foregoes branding, focusing on the refined understatement of this model.

Available in a limited edition of 50 pieces, the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity Cosmic Green is the ultimate expression of minimalism and purity, with no logo on the dial and the simplicity of double indices. This watch radiates a timeless beauty, proving that true luxury needs no unnecessary adornment.

An iconic piece, the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar from H. Moser & Cie. is renowned for its complex movement, but also for its absolute simplicity. Without multiple sub-dials or an illegible date disc: the indices show not only the hours, but also the months, using a small central hand.

A very large date window at 3 o’clock with a new date design and a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock complete the piece, making it the most legible and easy-to-set watch available, as it can be adjusted forwards or backwards at any time of day. The HMC 800 calibre is housed in the Endeavour case, whose lines have been adapted to increase the diameter beyond the 40.8 mm model. Measuring 42 mm, this case has a more dynamic look while still resting elegantly on the wrist thanks to its curved case-back.

The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity Cosmic Green pushes H. Moser’s minimalist philosophy even further: the dial has indices only at 12 and 6 o'clock and there is no visible logo or brand name. With its magnificent Cosmic Green fumé dial, this model remains immediately recognisable, proving that true luxury is unmistakable, even without ostentatious branding.

JACOB & CO. – ASTRONOMIA Tourbillon Black Ceramic - Black & Red Movement Edition

JACOB & CO. ASTRONOMIA Gravitational Triple Axis Tourbillon Black Ceramic - Black & Red Movement Limited Edition
ASTRONOMIA Tourbillon

Black Ceramic - Black & Red Movement

Presented at Baselworld 2018, this new variation of its iconic Astronomia Tourbillon watch from Jacob & Co. offers a sleek and sophisticated take on the original design, housing its signature high-tech movements in case composed entirely of black ceramic. The pared-down setting immediately draws the eye to the watch’s four-armed vertical movements and further emphasizes the dramatic allure of the triple-axis gravitational tourbillon.

A spherical sculpture depicting Mars (rather than the Astronomia Tourbillon’s staple sculpture of the Earth) dances around the watch’s dial, which displays the hours and minutes. Accompanying the sculpture of Mars is a Jacob-cut rubellite, whose 288 facets sparkle like a fiery sun against the deep blue, star-studded aventurine background. Between the sculpture of mars, the Jacob-cut rubellite, and the red movement finishing, red accents reign supreme in the penumbra of the black ceramic case.

As with all the models within the Astronomia collection, the Astronomia Black Ceramic’s sapphire dome case protects the dial as though it were a precious jewel, while the transparent sides offer a clear view of the timepiece’s complex movements.

The Astronomia Black Ceramic’s refined aesthetic sheds new light on the artistry of its gravitational triple axis tourbillon. Although initially designed to counteract the effects of terrestrial gravitation on the caliber’s mobile components, the system gains in effectiveness by rotating on three axes: the cage housing the escapement goes around the balance wheel axis in 60 seconds and completes a revolution over itself in 2.5 minutes while the entire tourbillon covers a full cycle around the watch’s central axis in 10 minutes. The triple rotation ensures the extreme precision of the highly complicated timepiece.

Like a satellite following its trajectory in infinite space, the Astronomia Black Ceramic’s off-center dial, indicating the hours and minutes, rotates around the watch’s center axis in 10 minutes. Jacob & Co.’s exclusive JCAM24 caliber design, with its patented differential system, allows the dial to remain vertical throughout its revolution. The vertical positioning offers clear legibility of the time, which is further enhanced by the contrast of the watch’s rhodium-plated hands and red-accented Roman numerals.

The Astronomia Black Ceramic uses the capabilities of its exclusive movement to set a lacquered magnesium terrestrial planet and an exceptional 288-facet Jacob-cut rubellite in motion under its glass dome. The lacquered magnesium sculpture of Mars and Jacob-cut rubellite revolve around the tourbillon’s cage. The dial, indicating the hours and minutes, is also in perpetual motion, circling the watch’s face like a space station orbiting in a sidereal void.

ANONIMO – AUTO - GC32 Edition

ANONIMO NAUTILO AUTOMATIC GC32 Racing Tour and World Championship Limited Edition

ANONIMO strengthens its commitment to sailing
by backing
GC32 Racing Tour and World Championship

After beginning its relationship with the GC32 class in 2017, ANONIMO is both renewing its support as Official Timekeeper for the ultra-fast flying catamaran series in 2018 and extending it to the class’ first ever GC32 World Championship. This will take place in Italy on the beautiful Lake Garda over 23-27 May 2018 and will include ANONIMO Speed Challenge, created last year. What a better place for ANONIMO to continue acknowledging its Italian roots and the strong sport-chic personality of its brand ?

ANONIMO wishes to maintain its reputation while the first boat ANONIMO backed was a TP52 competing on the Audi MedCup circuit more than 10 years ago. Since then technology in sailing has evolved dramatically. State of the art sailing now involves foiling boats that fly above the waves rather than pass through them at speeds normally only possible in a power boat. An aspect that remains unchanged is the requirement for a strong ethic of teamwork and co-ordination with each crew.

This year, the GC32 Racing Tour will feature seven teams from six nations and four continents fighting it out in their ultra-high performance one design foiling catamarans. By supporting these flagship events across Europe, ANONIMO follows a successful first season when GC32 Racing Tour events each day included the ANONIMO Speed Challenge. In this teams individually carry out speed runs, with a reach-gybe-reach format, over a measured distance. This provides each crew with the chance to push its GC32 to the limit, requiring maximum effort and focus.

Once again the GC32 Racing Tour in 2018 will visit five of the most attractive sailing venues across southern Europe. These have been handpicked to provide the optimum conditions for flying catamaran racing. This starts with the first ever GC32 World Championship, which will be raced by 15 teams from 10 nations, out of Riva del Garda on Lake Garda, Italy.

The same passion for challenge, team spirit and rigour signal the beginning of a great human adventure. Each crew is doing their part to push the limits and give the best of themselves.

BLANCPAIN – Fifty Fathoms BATHYSCAPHE Day Date 70s Eedition

BLANCPAINFifty Fathoms BATHYSCAPHE Day Date 70s Steel 43mm Limited Eedition

Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Day Date 70s

Following its 1956 debut – three years after the launch of the Fifty Fathoms –, the style of Blancpain’s Bathyscaphe evolved with the times. The 70s saw bold dial markings with Arabic numerals and windows for the day of the week and date at 3 o’clock. The new Bathyscaphe Day Date 70s, which will be limited to 500 pieces, captures the allure of that model while incorporating Blancpain’s current technical advances.

During the 70s, Blancpain evolved its line of Bathyscaphe models, introducing a few diving watches with new aesthetic codes. These models featured a silvered dial ring with rectangular indexes and Arabic numerals radially arrayed every five minutes. Today’s Blancpain was inspired by this unique style in the creation of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Day Date 70s timepiece.

The dial of this new limited-edition watch captures the look of the 70s model with its day of the week and date indications at 3 o’clock. As with the vintage piece, this new model has a subtle graduated gray coloring, darker on the outer perimeter and infused with lighter tones toward the center, thus creating the perception of a larger dial size with enhanced readability.

While the aesthetics of this new timepiece draw upon history, the watch takes advantage of Blancpain’s latest technical advances. The 43mm satin-finished case is equipped with an unidirectional bezel featuring a ceramic insert whose indexes are filled with Liquidmetal®.

Limited to 500 pieces, the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Day Date 70s is available with four different wristbands: a vintage-style antiqued leather, sail-canvas or NATO strap, as well as a steel bracelet.
