Recognisable for the unusual position of its screw-down crown at 4 o'clock and its unconventional crown guard, ANONIMO has created its new, highly sophisticated NAUTILO Vintage with warmer tones. Having slimmed down by more than 2 mm in diameter, this Vintage version has taken off its traditional 'diving suit', making it the perfect accessory for business or leisure attire.

The dial, with myriad reflections from its sunray finish, features subtle gradations to highlight the new, more precise minute track and new hands. The classic and elegant dimensions of this new NAUTILO are enhanced by the baton indixes which replace the dots on the previous collection (except for the traditional triangle at 12, 4 and 8 o'clock).

Its new rotating bezel, which is slimmer and more sophisticated than its predecessors, evokes the bezels on divers' watches from the 1950s. It features a chocolate-coloured ceramic insert, which beautifully matches the kangaroo leather strap. Thanks to the new strap interchangeability system, customers can easily reinvent their style and create new matching colour combinations to suit their taste.

As on classic divers' watches, the open case-back and the crown are screwed down to guarantee waterproofness to 200 metres.

Powered by a traditional automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, this Vintage watch displays the date in a rectangular aperture set against a white background at 6 o'clock for improved legibility.

After beginning its relationship with the GC32 class in 2017, ANONIMO is both renewing its support as Official Timekeeper for the ultra-fast flying catamaran series in 2018 and extending it to the class’ first ever GC32 World Championship. This will take place in Italy on the beautiful Lake Garda over 23-27 May 2018 and will include ANONIMO Speed Challenge, created last year. What a better place for ANONIMO to continue acknowledging its Italian roots and the strong sport-chic personality of its brand ?

ANONIMO wishes to maintain its reputation while the first boat ANONIMO backed was a TP52 competing on the Audi MedCup circuit more than 10 years ago. Since then technology in sailing has evolved dramatically. State of the art sailing now involves foiling boats that fly above the waves rather than pass through them at speeds normally only possible in a power boat. An aspect that remains unchanged is the requirement for a strong ethic of teamwork and co-ordination with each crew.

This year, the GC32 Racing Tour will feature seven teams from six nations and four continents fighting it out in their ultra-high performance one design foiling catamarans. By supporting these flagship events across Europe, ANONIMO follows a successful first season when GC32 Racing Tour events each day included the ANONIMO Speed Challenge. In this teams individually carry out speed runs, with a reach-gybe-reach format, over a measured distance. This provides each crew with the chance to push its GC32 to the limit, requiring maximum effort and focus.

Once again the GC32 Racing Tour in 2018 will visit five of the most attractive sailing venues across southern Europe. These have been handpicked to provide the optimum conditions for flying catamaran racing. This starts with the first ever GC32 World Championship, which will be raced by 15 teams from 10 nations, out of Riva del Garda on Lake Garda, Italy.

About GC32 Racing Tour:

2018 is the fifth year of the GC32 Racing Tour. This southern European-centred circuit for one design foiling catamarans, seeks to attract both private owner-driven boats and commercially-backed teams with a race format aimed at providing the best foiling catamaran experience for participants. This remit includes choosing venues known to provide optimum wind conditions for foiling and race courses large enough to enable the boats to hit maximum speeds.

ANONIMO: bronze in the spotlight for 20 years

A pioneer in the manufacture of bronze watches, ANONIMO has historical legitimacy thanks to the know-how of Florentine craftsmen. Continuing to work with this alloy to have an optimal aesthetic, ANONIMO presented at the beginning of the year a new bronze for their entire collection. After several months the patina is now unveiled with a chocolate model of the limited edition MILITARE Alpini. This new shade, more pink, can be found in an elegant association with the materials of the latest NAUTILO Bicolor.

Bronze, this noble and elegant material, was used by the most mythical Italian sculptors to create timeless works. This trend has been gaining momentum in watchmaking in recent years, whereas at ANONIMO bronze watches have legitimacy derived from their Florentine origins.

The resistance of bronze to wear and corrosion is such that it has been used in the naval world for centuries. Indeed, this material reacts to its environment and the slight oxidation of its surface will protect the metal from any attack. What's more natural for ANONIMO than using bronze in their watches developed for professional divers of the Italian navy? This is how ANONIMO presented to the world the first bronze diving watch in 2006 with the Polluce model.

After moving to Switzerland, ANONIMO presented a first limited edition: the vintage edition MILITARE "Alpini". Limited to 97 units, decorated with a relief engraving of the Matterhorn on the back of its case, this model available only in bronze, is renewed in 2017 with a Camouflage version. Its guilloche chocolate dial plays with the light and after several months of wear, the case shows its new face. As for the NAUTILO line, the newest arrival combines bronze and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) and thus highlights the peculiarity of this case comprised of three parts. The contrast of colors associated with a midnight blue dial and a black ceramic bezel recall Italian elegance.

The same "Blue Leopard" colour appears on the bezel, the NATO bracelet and even the counterweight of the second hand, while each watch is also individually numbered. On the screwed back, a special LEOPARD decoration is engraved and there is also the engraving of the limited series of 97 pieces in tribute, and a reference, to the creation of Anonimo in 1997.

A reshaped dial appears through the slightly domed sapphire crystal with its anti-reflective coating. An echo of the ANONIMO logo is found at the point at midday, the numbers 20 and 40 engraved on the bezel, the appliques at noon, 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock in double stick form, which all go to evoke the traditional triangle of the brand.
