Franck Muller draws its inspiration from Vienna’s iconic architectural landmarks, the Schloss Schönbrunn, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Wiener Staatsoper, the emblematic opera house.

Housed in a distinctive Curvex CX case, the emblematic Giga Tourbillon has been fully redesigned and manufactured with a completely new movement, showcasing meticulous attention to details for every component, underlining Franck Muller’s commitment to craftsmanship and exceptional horological technique.

At the heart of each masterpiece lies a breath-taking 20 millimetres tourbillon, raised above a delicately adorned cage that combines finesse and technical sophistication while adding a timeless historic dimension.

In contrast to traditional tourbillons powered by only one or two barrels, the Giga Tourbillon Vienne features four barrels to ensure a sufficient flow of power to the massive 20 millimeters tourbillon. An indicator is also placed at 12 o’clock to display the remaining power reserve.

The Giga Tourbillon Vienne is composed of two dials on the front of the watch. In conjunction with the traditional dial, a second dial is positioned beneath the balance wheel. Meanwhile, a third dial is located at the back of the watch and features an opening allowing visibility of the central wheel and the third wheel. An artistic illustration of the movement is then incorporated on the back dial.

The Giga Tourbillon Vienne presents a collection of three distinctive watches in rose gold, yellow gold and white gold. The rose gold includes warm colors, drawing inspiration from architectural interiors. The yellow gold variant reflects external architectural elements, and the white gold version draws inspiration from painting and spirituality.

The carefully selected colors of the front dials blend with the architectural diversity, with tones such as champagne, white and blue, evoking the richness of decorative wall shades and ceiling frescoes. The Giga Tourbillon features one of the biggest tourbillons ever seen in a wristwatch. This masterpiece
embraces a 20 mm diameter tourbillon on the dial that occupies half of the watch. Four barrels were necessary to power this huge tourbillon and to ensure the 4 days power reserve. A skeleton version which combines aesthetics with rigidity reveals a highly technical mechanism and perfectly balanced styling.
