Its Distribution Partnership In Mexico
To mark the event, the brand is present at the SIAR, notably with two models displayed for the first time in Latin America.

After opening the Stephen Silver point of sale last week in California’s Silicon Valley, De Bethune is continuing its international development by taking the opportunity of the SIAR to announce an exclusive distribution agreement in Mexico with its new partner, the Raconli group.

De Betune’s CEO Pierre Jacques, who is attending the SIAR, said: “Mexico is a real connoisseurs’ market with a longstanding tradition and true appreciation of Swiss Haute Horlogerie models. To offer our customers enhanced service, while ensuring our brand’s solid long-term development in Mexico, we are delighted to have reached a distribution agreement with the Raconli group. I wish to express my sincere thanks to the Raconli Group’s CEO Ramon Gonalez and his family for their confidence in us. Their excellent knowledge of this market will ensure the high-quality presence that is key to our development.”

The new model of the year, the DB28 Steel Wheels, is one of the watches competing in the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. This resolutely transparency-themed titanium watch features a particularly light architecture thanks to the open construction of its central delta- shaped bridge. Its self-regulating twin barrel ensures a six-day power reserve. The palladium and blued steel spherical moon at 6 o’clock spins on its axis with such accuracy that it will show a mere one-day discrepancy in 122 years.

The distinctive architecture of Calibre 2115V4 is beautifully highlighted by the decision to trim down the mechanism, notably by openworking the barrels and ratchet wheels, as well as cutting out the heart of the central delta-shaped bridge. The latter is adorned with a “Côtes De Bethune” decoration, produced using the Microlight micrometric engraving technique developed by De Bethune. The entire movement thus creates the impression of levitating.

Also introduced this year, the DB25 Starry Varius is a more traditional-looking watch. With its blued titanium star-studded sky and its Milky Way sprinkled with 24K gold dust, this timepiece is powered by the Manufacture DB2105 calibre equipped with a new balance wheel featuring white gold inserts, along with the triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system.

To kick off this Mexican week, De Bethune took part in the “Private Experience” organised by the Berger boutique. A beautiful means of enjoying personal encounters with its customers.
