Commemorating Sincere Fine Watches' 70th anniversary, Laurent Ferrier unveils the Grand Sport Tourbillon Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. Renowned for technical refinement, fine watchmaking, and exceptional finishing, Laurent Ferrier stands as a beacon of timeless elegance among independent watchmakers.

Limited to just 12 pieces, this special edition highlights Laurent Ferrier's technical prowess and finishing expertise while exemplifying the strong partnership with Sincere Fine Watches.

A dial of many firsts

Sincere partnered with the brand to create a uniquely crafted dial for this timepiece. Housed in a 44 mm red gold case, the design features a petrol green guilloché dial, introducing several firsts for Laurent Ferrier. This is the first guilloché dial in Laurent Ferrier’s Grand Sport Tourbillon collection.

Also, the distinctive shade of teal is another debut for Laurent Ferrier, inspired by the waves of the South China Sea that borders Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia – countries where Sincere has established a strong retail presence in. Chosen to symbolize vitality and resilience, the color reflects the enduring qualities that define Sincere over its 70-year history.

One of the notable features of the Laurent Ferrier Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition is the distinctive guilloché pattern. This wave pattern not only complements the dial's color but also enhances its depth with a striking black gradient. The guilloché dial appears ever-changing, reacting to light in a way that evokes the dynamic nature of the ocean floor. Beyond its geographical inspiration, this oceanic motif symbolizes Sincere's anticipation of the limitless possibilities for what the future holds. As Sincere ushers in a new era, this dial embodies a forward-looking vision and enthusiasm for what lies ahead.

As with every Laurent Ferrier timepiece, legibility is an essential criterion. Hence, white Super-Luminova was carefully chosen for the Assegai-shaped hands and drop-shaped indices, perfectly complementing the finely snailed small seconds’ display. To further enhance contrast, the white gold hands and indices are treated with ruthenium. Together, these elements create a truly unique dial that serves as a fitting tribute to Sincere’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

A sleek bodywork

The Grand Sport case design echoes the graceful, enduring curves seen in racing cars, reminiscent of those Laurent Ferrier once drove. Crafted from 5N red gold, the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition aims for sophistication and elegance beyond traditional sport-chic timepieces.

The Grand Sport Tourbillon case predominantly features satin-brushed components with several mirror-polished parts. The cushion-shaped bezel is finished with circular satin brushing and contrasting mirror-polished sides. Similarly, the middle case, reinterpreting the barrel shape, combines vertical satin brushing on the top with a horizontally brushed profile and mirror-polished sides.

The caseback is engraved with "one of twelve," highlighting the piece's exclusivity. Consistent with the entire Laurent Ferrier collection, the case components integrate seamlessly.

A high-performance engine

In 2023, Laurent Ferrier won the Best Tourbillon award at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) for its Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit featuring the LF 619.01 movement.

The Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, housed in a red gold case showcases this same highly efficient engine complete with a Nubuck strap for the first time, adding a touch of sportiness and ruggedness to its elegant design.

Visible through the sapphire glass caseback, Sincere’s 70th anniversary logo is delicately engraved, inviting collectors to admire the movement in all its glory.

Particularly captivating is the tourbillon, a testament to centuries-old craftsmanship pioneered by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801. This innovation mitigated gravity's effects on the pocket watch's regulating organ when held vertically, employing two inversely mounted spirals to neutralize lateral displacement of the balance's axis.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The integration of these systems ensures exceptional precision and boasts a power reserve exceeding 80 hours, appealing to chronometry enthusiasts who will appreciate the precision and superior performance of this timepiece, whose beauty is matched only by its accuracy.

A tribute to traditional watchmaking techniques

The movement includes a long-blade ratchet pawl, celebrated not only for its aesthetic appeal with an entirely hand-finished bassinage but also for producing a soft and melodious murmur when winding the watch. Enhanced with horizontal satin brushing and a ruthenium treatment, the movement exudes a sporty character.

Every component of the movement undergoes meticulous hand-finishing. For instance, the tourbillon cage bridge features chamfered edges, bassinage, mirror polishing, and over 30 interior angles meticulously executed by hand in Laurent Ferrier's workshops. The Grand Sport Tourbillon epitomizes traditional watchmaking artistry, elevated by the modernity and elegance of its new case and dial combination.

The 12-piece limited Laurent Ferrier Grand Sport Tourbillon Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition will be available at all Sincere Fine Watches Boutiques with a retail price of SGD$328,000 (including GST).

LAURENT FERRIER – CLASSIC Moon Annual Calendar Blue & Silver

LAURENT FERRIER –  CLASSIC Moon Phase Blue & Silver – Annual Calendar 40mm 2024

After winning the GPHG for its Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit which chased the warm colours of dawn, LAURENT FERRIER returns to its Classic first love. Taking us once again on a quest for the skies, this time, it is more ambitious with its new Classic Moon.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The LAURENT FERRIER atelier proudly presents two outstanding interpretations of their Classic collection. Both versions have an Annual Calendar, and the brand’s first ever moon phase complication. The Annual Calendar Moon Phase is set within the poetic curves of the design chosen by the GPHG as Best Men’s Watch in 2010, the year the brand debuted, a fitting frame for its first lunar complication.

THE CASE DESIGN

The Classic case has the LAURENT FERRIER signature in each sweep of its pebble-smooth curves, with a choice of polished stainless steel or 18-carat red gold. The recognizable and studied shape results from a considered and discreet design evolution, encapsulating two distinct dials with intricate hand-finished details. In presenting two distinctive and complimentary red gold and steel references, the watchmaker offers a new interpretation of the classic stylistic codes for which the brand is known. Both versions have a balanced 40-mm case and delicately curved lugs that offer a smooth, ergonomic presence on the wrist. The aesthetic has all the hallmarks of the LAURENT FERRIER design language, with a gently curved bezel and the pleasure of setting the watch using the ball-shaped crown.

The Annual Calendar Moon Phase reveals a sapphire case back that offers an expansive view of the new LF126.02 calibre, accompanied by the Olivette on the case back bezel, at 6 o'clock, making the movement accessible to the watchmaker. The gently curved ball crown winds and sets the date and time. A flush-fitted corrector at 10 o’clock is used to adjust the day display, while a second corrector between 8 and 9 sets the moon phase complication with its enigmatic Aventurine glass design.

CLASSIC MOON SILVER

The Classic Moon, with its annual calendar and moon phase, embodies classical elegance, thanks to its meticulously curated dial. The very gentle vertical brushing creates a subtle and delicate interplay of light, giving a sense of purity despite displaying a wide range of indications.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Encircling the slender Roman numerals and baton markers is a chemin de fer minute track in a rich shade of petrol blue with the 31 date numerals in a classic font. The 31st is rendered in a luscious shade of cherry red, matching the central date pointer.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Deep-set just below 12 o’clock are two bevelled windows framing a weekday display on the left and the month on the right. The hour and minute hands are slender, ruthenium-treated white gold versions of the Assegai-shaped hands. A debuting feature, resplendent in blue, will inspire a closer look at six o’clock.
At the base of the dial, knowledgeable collectors will recognize a slightly expanded version of the small seconds display. It is intertwined with the first ever Moon Phase complication by LAURENT FERRIER, with a distinct and intricate design in eye-catching Aventurine glass and a translucent enamel.

This version of the Classic Moon is paired with a brown calf leather strap with a matching Alcantara lining.

CLASSIC MOON BLUE

Like the silver dial, this second version of the Classic Moon by LAURENT FERRIER exudes an unmatched refinement. Its monochrome dial brings a modern twist to the classic design, and a daring yet delicate interpretation of the annual calendar moon phase model.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Set in a stainless steel Classic case, the tonal grey-blue dial reveals a contemporary feel enhanced by the opaline finish. Its shades contrast beautifully with the crisp graphic of the white Roman numerals, giving the traditional font a dynamic edge. In this version, the encircling date numerals are rendered in a pastel blue, while the 31st stands out with a fresh azure hue, matching the central date pointer. Its tip touches the chemin de fer outer circle, while the slender Assegai-shaped hour and seconds hand are rendered in white-lacquered white gold.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

At six o'clock, the first ever LAURENT FERRIER moon phase display will undoubtedly draw attention with its captivating Aventurine glass display, brought to life by the artisan's skills. This is set within a recessed grey-blue opaline circle with powder-grey markers, offering a soft contrast to the opaline grey-blue dial. The rich blue of the captivating moon phase display embodies the understated elegance that sets any LAURENT FERRIER apart.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This version of the Classic Moon is presented on a hand-sewn dark grey Nubuck strap with a soft Alcantara lining.

THE MOON PHASE COMPLICATION

As the first ever lunar complication from LAURENT FERRIER, this new creation is the pièce de résistance shared by these two new references. At the centre of the small seconds dial, an enigmatic dark blue moon disc represents the cycles of the moon.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

First, Aventurine glass from Murano artisans is engraved to create the shape of the moon and stars with hand-applied white paint for the details. The moon and stars are then hand-filled with Super-LumiNova and fired at high temperatures. Afterwards, the Super-LumiNova is further engraved to create craters on the moon’s surface. The magnificent moon phase disc is then adorned with a translucent petrol blue enamel applique, imbuing it with an enchanting and sophisticated effect.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

An understated miniature baton pointer in white-lacquered or ruthenium-treated white gold indicates the seconds. The lunar phases of the Northern Hemisphere are opposed to the Southern Hemisphere moon, as indicated by the N and S markers between the small second markers.

Reflecting the LAURENT FERRIER brand, this first moon phase complication combines traditional age-old watchmaking craftsmanship with current modern sciences and technologies.

A REVISED CALIBRE

These two new LAURENT FERRIER Classic Moon phase references feature an annual calendar with a precision moon phase: a first for the watchmaker. The annual calendar complication recognizes and distinguishes months with 30 and 31 days, automatically advancing to the 1st of the month when appropriate.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Manual adjustment is only necessary once a year, on March 1st, to adapt to the varying number of days in February. A discreet flush fitted corrector is set on the left side of the case between 8 and 9 o’clock to adjust the moon phase display.

The date is adjusted the same way using a setting pin via a second corrector at 10 o’clock. All other adjustments are easily made using the trademark ball-shaped crown.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Inspired by the brand’s previous annual calendar movement, the LF126.01, the new LF126.02 is a redesigned and improved version with an 80-hour power reserve, replenished through the crown. Over 30 new components have been added to create this new calibre, and more than twenty have been revised and optimized. A power reserve indicator is positioned on the case back side of the watch movement.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Highly appreciated by purists, the long blade ratchet pawl is characteristic of all hand-wound LAURENT FERRIER calibres, offering a polished bassiné finish handcrafted in the LF workshops.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The rear sapphire crystal reveals the mechanism and the finesse of its hand-crafted surface treatment, executed by LAURENT FERRIER watchmakers according to the most demanding criteria of traditional Haute Horlogerie. Each bridge is adorned with Rhodium-treated Côtes de Genève decoration. The main plate is embellished with circular graining, while the edges and interior angles are bevelled and polished by hand, just like each recessed screw head in the movement.

LAURENT FERRIER – Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit Titanium Edition

LAURENT FERRIER Grand Sport Tourbillon – Pursuit Opalin Finish Dial Titanium 44 Edition 2023

LAURENT FERRIER is proud to announce the launch of its brand new timepiece. Inspired by the thrills of motor racing and the pursuit of excellence, this watch features a stunning salmon-pink dial that captures the breathtaking beauty of the sky at dawn.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

For the two founders of LAURENT FERRIER, both of whom have driven many times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, sunrise is the perfect time of day to be behind the wheel on the famous Sarthe circuit. The Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit is a tribute to this incredible experience, and to the passion that drives LAURENT FERRIER.

DAWN IMMORTALISED

For Laurent Ferrier and François Servanin, driving at dawn on the 24-hour track was an experience like no other. As the rising sun, still hidden, tinted the sky with an orange-pink glow, both men have found themselves alone on the Mulsanne straight, the roar of a Porsche 935 their only co-driver. Once met by this rosy hue, any notion of victory or defeat, fatigue or ardour — even ambition for the final ranking — faded away. All that remained was immense joy, and the thrill of imagining that they were the sole privileged spectators of this extraordinary ballet of light. It was a moment beyond time, a brief oasis of peace amid the frenetic pace of the race.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Just after that moment, the men felt truly alive. As if reinvigorated by the incredible spectacle they had just witnessed, they pushed their abilities and those of the car to the limit, throwing themselves even harder into the pursuit of victory. Those memories of dawn on the circuit are treasured, and it is their indelible image, imbued with poetry and grace, that LAURENT FERRIER wished to capture with the Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This new version of the Grand Sport Tourbillon features a case with an integrated bracelet, made entirely of grade 5 titanium and adorned with an elegant dial with gradient shades of salmon-pink . Previously launched in different, highly limited editions, this new version is intended to be timeless, and will therefore become part of the brand's permanent collection. However, as with each LAURENT FERRIER design, the Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit will be highly exclusive, with only 15 pieces manufactured each year.

The new sunrise dial features an opaline finish, an understated signature of the Grand Sport Tourbillon. Its pink hues contrast with darker drop-shaped applied indices in white gold treated with ruthenium and enhanced with white Super-LumiNova, giving the dial perfect legibility. Hallmarked with the LF signature, the famous Assegai-shaped hands complete the piece. Here in ruthenium-treated white gold, the hands have been enlarged a little to hold white Super-LumiNova. A slightly domed sapphire crystal gives this exceptional timepiece a rounded profile, which is comfortable to wear.

STREAMLINED BODYWORK

The architecture of the Grand Sport case evokes the elegant, timeless curves of racing cars. In grade 5 titanium, the GST Pursuit illustrates the feeling of lightness experienced by drivers when they see the pink sky during an exciting race. The timepiece weighs just 118 grammes, with a diameter of 44mm.

The Grand Sport Tourbillon is mainly comprised of satin-brushed elements embellished with numerous mirror polishes. With a circular satin-brushed finish, the cushion-shaped bezel features contrasting mirror-polished flanks. Similarly, in an interpretation of a barrel shape, the middle case also features a play with several finishes. The top has a vertical satin-brushed finish, while the profile has a horizontal satin-brushed finish and features contrasting mirror-polished flanks. In keeping with the rest of the LAURENT FERRIER collection, all the components in the case are designed harmoniously.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The bracelet is made up of rows of 3 links, with a vertical satin-brushed finish. The central links feature bevels with a contrasting mirror polish. These details give the bracelet and case ensemble a vibrant appearance.

A HIGH-PERFORMANCE ENGINE

In 2010, Laurent Ferrier won the “Men's Watch” prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) for the Classic Tourbillon. The watch was equipped with an ingenious hand-wound movement featuring a tourbillon and a double balance spring. The new Grand Sport Tourbillon features the same LF619.01 movement, albeit presented with a more contemporary finish.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The double-balance-spring tourbillon carriage, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, is worthy of the most efficient motor engines. The complex mechanics of the tourbillon movement is a tribute to centuries-old craftsmanship.

When Abraham-Louis Breguet patented the tourbillon in 1801, his invention countered the unfavourable influence of gravity on the pocket watch's regulator when held in an upright position. By equipping the balance wheel with two head-to-tail mounted balance springs, the lateral displacement of the balance wheel axis is also neutralised. The integration of the two systems brings the respective benefits together, providing excellent precision and a power reserve of more than 80 hours.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Chronometry enthusiasts will appreciate the precision and superior performance of this timepiece, with a beauty matched only by its precision.

AN ODE TO PURE, TRADITIONAL ELEGANCE

The movement has a long-bladed pawl, which, beyond its aesthetic function from the bassinage polish being carried out entirely by hand, delivers a soft, melodious murmur when the watch is wound. LAURENT FERRIER has adorned the movement with a horizontal satin-brushed finish and ruthenium coating, reinforcing the sporty character of this timepiece.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The bridge of the tourbillon carriage is meticulously decorated by hand. In addition, the movement features numerous hand mirror polishing and 30 hand-crafted internal angles.

While the Grand Sport Tourbillon Pursuit appears contemporary, it also perpetuates the watchmaking traditions so dear to LAURENT FERRIER.
