Keeping the same features as its predecessor, the CHALLENGE  III CHRONOGRAPH-S  includes  a "CVSTOS-577" automatic chronograph movement with high efficiency, characterized by a new  bimetallic rotor (Tungsten  88  & Titanium Grade 5) whose inertial characteristics have been optimized ensuring a better acceleration of the oscillating weight. CVSTOS has chose a return to its roots and updated the famous ‘S’ line (‘Sport’) characterized by a small seconds hand with  three  branches, by a new power reserve display  which is read through a counter and 2 charge indicators.

This new three-dimensional display with ergonomic reading is enhanced by the famous sword  shaped  hands of its beginnings, whose specific design gives it readability and visibility day and night.

To enhance the modularity and ergonomics, this chapter III inherits the complex construction of 4 pieces of its predecessor, while optimizing the weight of the case by the use of different avant-garde materials in:

The timepiece offers optimized readability thanks to the new configuration of the dial, broken down into 2 reading axes:

• • The vertical axis consisting of 2 counters (at 12 o'clock the minute counter & at 6 o'clock the hour counter) enhanced by precious metal discs with an elegant diamond finish.

• • The horizontal axis, slightly set back, shows at 9 o'clock the small second with a three-branched hand and at 3 o'clock the effective power reserve of minimum of 42 hours, which is read through a window and 2 charge indicators, and finally on the same level the indication of the date.

This refined style gives to this three-dimensional structure a perfect visibility on the functional elements of the movement. The sword-shaped hands, the barrel shaped rim including the tachymetric scale, the indexes alternated by applied numerals enhanced by a treated inlay of luminescent material contribute to a great clarity and readability of the entire dial. Therefore, the hour display takes centre stage without confusing the reading of the indication of the chronograph functions magnified by 2, finely diamond finished, oversized counters.

Comfort and ergonomics are the main points for this marvel of  style and technology.  The presence of pockets on the case and the rubber strap  contribute to enhance the sporty look of  the watch while  giving it an increased lightness.

Defined by this new barrel-shaped case, the CHALLENGE III CHRONOGRAPH-S, is defined by clean and racy lines with a multi-component architecture, powerful and generous at the same time. Water resistant to 100 meters, like all CVSTOS timepieces, the collection is available in multi-component metal or composite mounted on a Grade 5 titanium container base offering different color possibilities.

The watch is worn on an NBR® (rubber) strap and the strap closes with a double-pusher folding clasp.

CVSTOS – CHALLENGE JETLINER II P-S Automatic

CVSTOS complements the eponymous series, with the new JETLINER II P-S AUTOMATIC, and reinvents the oldest of the watchmaking mechanisms with a new calibre, complete with small seconds at 6 o’clock. This new calibre CVS-410 developed exclusively for this model presents the special features which are cherished by the brand and includes some improvements which boost the efficiency and performance of the mechanism.

Efficiency

is guaranteed based on a totally innovative magnetic system, designated as “anti-rattling”. The latter is composed of 2 small cylindrical permanent magnets, perfectly positioned between 2 teeth for each jump which is induced by the escape wheel.

Thereby, this system thus guarantees the operational fluidity and ultimately the correct positioning of the small seconds wheel elaborated of polarised steel. This makes the system void of abrasive foils and ultimately, provides it with a better performance.

Performance

is guaranteed based on a longer and stronger mainspring, which improves the distribution of the torque on the power reserve curve. The increase in the force and the length of the spring must necessarily go hand in hand with the winding device, i.e., the oscillating weight which ensures the complete winding of the mainspring. The gross energy reserve is approximately 48 hours; however, its efficiency is stored for 32 hours of the total energy reserve.

The oscillating weight is composed of two highly technical materials, titanium grade 5 & THUNGSTEN88®. This combination of materials eliminates all vibrations due to uneven weight on the ball-bearing and provides better rotational acceleration, thus optimising the winding.

Preciousness

The case of the watch, composed of 3 elements, allows to select from an infinity of variations, both in materials and colours. The fusion of different shades of titanium, ceramic composite material and gold provides these watches with added value with the case laterals made of 5N pink gold, while reducing the weight with the use of titanium for the remaining components.

In its relentless pursuit of beauty, CVSTOS was inspired by this state of contemplation, letting the delicate buds of feminine grace blossom... The “RE-BELLE SAKURA” was born from an animated staging built on a three-dimensional dial which is articulated around a sleek branch of cherry blossom perfectly punctuated by the functions of the mechanical CVS-55/ TWIN-TIME automatic winding movement, which combines two small Complications, in order to play this composition in harmony with passing time.

An ode to the beauty of the passing of time and its renaissance ... where Haute Horlogerie is harmoniously mixing with art and crafts and art jeweler.

Having the woman’s versatility and the flourishing tree in mind, CVSTOS dedicates the RE-BELLE line to the elegant woman, this irresistibly feminine new tribute, which stands out from its usually sportier predecessor. It is equipped with a CVS-55 automatic movement with small complication. The “RE-BELLE SAKURA” is dressed in a three-dimensional dial with the cherry tree floral motif, inlaid with mother-of-pearl or treated metal base of white PVD, which barely conceals the useful functions such as the Grande Date display and the now known “Twin-Time”, while putting them all in evidence.

This dramatic composition is made of flowers finely carved in the mass and colored by an artisanal process commonly called “Miniatures Paintings” which permits to view this small complication’s useful features; at 6 o’clock stands the «Twin-Time» function, topped by a rotating flower with a perforated petal, that makes appear, when passing by, the indication of the 2nd Time

Zone; at 12 o’clock we find the window of the Grande Date display harmoniously placed in the movement of the branch, the display is animated by 2 finely perforated discs. The hours of this dial Tower are majestically surrounded by a flange adorned with 12 small diamonds enfolded by their respective setting.

Promise of refinement, the tonneau-shaped case of the “RE-BELLE SAKURA” is also designed in the same innovative spirit that characterizes the CVSTOS brand, by the purity of its line and curves where volumes are giving an infinite sweetness to the voluptuous proportions of the exclusive “Serti Neige” case and where all of the settings are carried out from the screwed safety Crown of Titanium Grade 5, or Pink Gold 5N, itself equipped with a ring inlaid with diamonds and topped by a bullet-shaped blue Sapphire cabochon.

Once again, CVSTOS innovates and puts its signature in its collection by offering a new technique of random crimping, more commonly known as the

“Serti Neige”, which makes use of both the creativity and the genius of the jeweler’s artisan, so... that each watch is different. With this innovative offer CVSTOS is positioning the “RE-BELLE SAKURA” in the area of art jeweler. This timekeeper with its unique and rare aesthetics is a true show, in which the enchanting sparkles of diamonds do invite the eyes to dive into the very heart of the staging directly on this moving painting.
