The Rennes Opera House is an operatic landmark characterised by its distinctive rounded architecture. The harmonious lines and subtle curves, typical of the neoclassical tradition, make it a particularly outstanding monument. The sophisticated forms of the Baroncelli collection pay tribute to the timeless elegance of this building. This collection, which is emblematic of Mido’s watchmaking expertise, celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016.

Mido is sure to surprise with its new Baroncelli Wild Stone collection. The watchmaker is releasing a series of four highly original timepieces that will unleash the wildness in every woman. The centre of the magnificent white grained dials of these ultra-feminine models showcases a sumptuous design that gives them a unique personality: celestial and mysterious with the deep blue hue of Aventurine; intense and shimmering with the orangey brown tones of Tiger’s Eye; bright and radiant with the subtle green shades of Malachite; or fresh and crystalline with the superb green tints of Tree Jasper.

Each of the dials adorning the new Baroncelli Wild Stone models is unique and protected by a superb round steel case measuring 33 mm in diameter, with a rose or yellow gold PVD treatment on three of the models. The hour and minute hands, in steel or with a yellow or rose gold PVD treatment, are double-sided – one side sandblasted, the other diamond-cut – while the seconds are indicated by a flat diamond-cut hand.

A window at 6 o’clock, meanwhile, displays the date. The Aventurine model is equipped with a blue satin-style fabric strap for an ultra-sophisticated look. Meanwhile, the Tiger’s Eye and Malachite models feature a glossy black crocodile-look genuine cow leather strap, while the Tree Jasper model features a five-row steel bracelet that adds incredible sparkle.

This latest-generation automatic movement bestows them with exceptional autonomy, ensuring a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Finely decorated with an oscillating weight adorned with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo, it can be admired through the transparent case back. These four models are water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bars (50 m / 165 ft).
