Purebred character
This steel timepiece coated in black PVD throughout is instantly recognisable as part of the Newport family and maintains all of the original specifications of the collection. Its rounded case measures 42.5 mm in diameter. The notched black dial with circular brushed bezel is arranged like a dashboard, engraved with a tachymeter scale.

Punctuated with luminescent baton hour markers ringed by a discreet minute track on the encircling flange, the dial houses three counters in a V shape, in an anthracite grey that discreetly draws the gaze. Complete with a large date aperture at 12 o’clock, the well-balanced design affords easy reading of the information on display.

Sporty temperament
Fitted with a Swiss-made quartz chronograph movement (Ronda), the Newport Chronograph guarantees precision to 1/10th of a second, for 54 months. Made for racing, it features a tachymeter scale that runs from 60 to 400 km/h, allowing dedicated record breakers to measure their average speed over a given distance. Also water-resistant to 100 metres (double-gasket crown), this sporty Michel Herbelin, protected by a sapphire crystal, is in pole position to accompany the masculine gent in his many pursuits.

Like all the brand’s timepieces, this Newport chronograph was conceived, designed, assembled, regulated and quality checked at the Michel Herbelin studios in the Jura mountains of the Franche-Comté region. Heir to a French watchmaking tradition stretching back over 70 years, it offers the assurance of stringent technical standards.
