RESERVOIR – GT TOUR Carbon Edition

RESERVOIRGT TOUR Carbon Limited Edition

GT TOUR Carbon

The GT Tour adopts the codes of the ‘Classic’ car race. The limited edition GT Tour CARBON offers an even more radical version, with a forged carbon steel watch case and a «sandblast» finish dial that inspired by the coating of legendary automobile racetracks.

Worn with an automobile leather style perforated black leather strap, this model with the black mat dial, the red hand and grey indexes is a tribute to the golden age of the car race.

THE AUTOMOBILE HERITAGE
GT Tour: 1960 1990

RESERVOIR takes its inspiration from the universes that have marked the history of mankind from the 19th Century to the present time. The GT Tour was born in the world of the car and the car race – symbols of endurance and high performance.

1960-1990: it was during these years that so many legendary car races took place, forging the very essence of GT Tour timepieces. As the race is about to start, the driver glances at the rev counter…the mind is firing on all cylinders as the racing cars growl throatily and the powerful odours of oil and fuel saturate the air.

All of a sudden, the rubber tyres grip the asphalt urgently, and you get a taste of the thrill of high speed, and of being the first to cross the finishing line. It is when the driver is totally focussed on his task that he can, at the very core of his being, dream of victory and adventure.

His senses are on high alert, as intense as the headlights piercing the darkness of the night…The GT Tour incarnates these values of precision, high performance and determination.

THE MOVEMENT

In order to fine-tune the precision mechanism so that the three complications on the timepieces can be displayed, RESERVOIR has joined forces with one of the best-known Swiss watchmakers, specialized in designing high complication movements.

A 124-part proprietary watchmaking module has, to this end, been specially drawn up and patented. The module is powered by the ETA 2824-2 movement, widely acclaimed for its reliability and precision, oscillating at 28.800/h. All RESERVOIR watches feature a retrograde minute hand, a jumping hour and a 37-hour power reserve.

The RESERVOIR collection is a testament to the unique body of watchmaking knowledge that abides by the most stringent professional standards. Qualified watchmakers design, assemble and check the meticulously calibrated settings of RESERVOIR watches in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

The fact that the checks are so thorough, and that such attention is devoted to every minor detail, means that RESERVOIR is truly proud to display the SWISS MADE label: an emblem of high-quality watchmaking achieved through a patented proprietary module comprising 124 components.
