Latest MT-G Model Features a Laser
Etched Python Pattern Across the Ultra-Premium Band and Bezel
CasioG-SHOCK
announces its latest collaboration with Wildlife Promising, an
authorized nonprofit organization dedicated to African wildlife
preservation, on a limited-edition MT-G series model. Inspired by the
African Rock Python, the MTGB1000WLP1
boasts a laser etched band, case and bezel covered in a brown, black,
and gold python pattern that is meant to mimic the skin of Africa’s
largest python.
Influences from the African Rock Python and Wildlife Promising can be
seen throughout the collaboration model’s design. The second hand on the
dial sports a bright red color to match the color of the snake’s
tongue, while the indicator hand at the 9 o’clock position, emulates the
triangular pattern that mimics the top of the python’s distinct head.
Wildlife Promising branding can be found on the watch band, as well as
the case backing, which is etched with the organization’s mantra and
logo, “Love The Sea And The Earth.”
Upholding the premium features of the original MTGB1000 base model, the
MTGB1000WLP1 arrives with Bluetooth® connectivity and time
synchronization via the G-SHOCK Connected app and Multi-Band 6
radio-controlled timekeeping, Tough Solar power, sapphire crystal for

Jeet-Kune-Do “Yin Yang" Emblem on Case Back
Casio G-SHOCK adds a new addition to its luxury MR-G line. A total of only 300 pieces of the limited-edition watch, which is a collaboration model featuring legendary action film star and martial artist, Bruce Lee, who would have turned 80 years old this year, will go on sale worldwide.
The MRG-G2000BL-9A was envisioned as a collaboration between Bruce Lee, whose combination of world-class physical and mental toughness continues to captivate people today, and the ever-evolving MR-G series, the pinnacle of the G-SHOCK line, which likewise continues to deliver an uncompromising commitment to structured materials, processing, and finishing.
The updated MRG model arrives with a yellow, Dura Soft Fluoro-Rubber Band, which brings both high durability and a soft feel on the wrist, as well as sapphire glass crystal that provides outstanding scratch resistance.
In addition to a strong yet comfortable band, the MRG-G2000BL-9A also boasts a sleek bezel that is coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC) to increase abrasion resistance. The model’s titanium case and bezel are also subjected to a deep-layer hardening process, which makes their surfaces four to five times harder than plain titanium, for a double hardening treatment, ensuring strength throughout the entire model.
The colors black and yellow are used for the case and the band respectively, recalling the tracksuit worn by Bruce Lee in the posthumously released film, Game of Death. In addition, the colors yellow and red, which appear in the emblem of Jeet Kune Do, the martial arts philosophy founded by Lee, are used for the indices and the MR-G logo and second hand, respectively.
The entire watch expresses the philosophical thinking behind Jeet Kune Do, as well as the philosophy of its creator Bruce Lee. The bezel is engraved with "Using no way as a way, having no limitation as limitation," a phrase that expresses the limitless potential of Jeet Kune Do, while its symbol, with the same phrase in Chinese, is engraved on the case back. The 3 o’clock position on the dial is also decorated with Bruce Lee’s signature, using the Chinese character "龍," or dragon, Bruce’s nickname. These and other features make the MRG-G2000BL-9A a special model very much alive with the energy of Bruce Lee, whose legendary spirit transcends the generations.
The model is based on the MRG-G2000 of the flagship MR-G series, which matches the legendary action film star’s combination of strength and beauty while also delivering tons of advanced technology. Casio G-SHOCK announces the retail availability of the latest addition to its men’s GRAVITYMASTER line. The limited edition GWRB1000X-1A, built with aviation professionals in mind, arrives in a premium black Carbon Monocoque case and boasts a carbon and epoxy resin to elevate the strength and durability of the lightweight model. latest addition to its luxury MR-G line up of men’s watches, with the
release of the MRGG2000GA-1A, which is currently on display at
Baselworld.
Each limited-edition timepiece is hand engraved using the classic Japanese technique, “yasuri-me," an intricate process that entails each of the band’s center links with a rasp finish similar to that done on the tang of a sword. The band is complemented by a deep violet color and recrystallized Arc Ion Plating (AIP) on the case, and the bezel boasts an upscale, mirror-like finish.
The MRGG200GA-1A features a Cobarion® bezel with a flawless
mirror-finish, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with
non-reflective coating, elevating its overall clarity and brilliance.
The watch’s face also boasts a watered pattern and a unique bladed edge
to symbolize a Japanese sword, while the band is hand engraved by
historic Japanese artisan Sadanobu Gassan, whose heritage dates back to
the 12th century.
The new model also comes equipped with
G-SHOCK’s top-of-the-line technical capabilities including Multi-Band 6
technology for three-way time sync to allows for accurate time keeping,
as well as Tough Solar technology that provides self-charging
capabilities.
The watch also has Bluetooth technology to connect with

The MRG-G2000RJ-2A has a titanium case with a Cobarion bezel and Dura
Soft Fluoro Rubber Band. The watch is designed in the image of the
Jyuryoku Maru, an original traditional Japanese sword created
exclusively for G-Shock and created with an MR-G motif.
Each bezel is
carved individually from a solid block of metal. The deep violet Arc Ion
Plating (AIP) on the bezel is harder than a diamond-like carbon (DLC)
treatment and gives the metal a traditional Japanese cassius purple
finish.
MR-G original Japanese sword JYURYOKU MARU
A sword-like letter opener created by swordsmith Teruhira
Kamiyama and engraved with his name is included in the box set and
includes a certificate of authenticity from the All Japan Swordsmith
Association. The characters for “Jyuryoku” (meaning “gravity”) are hand
engraved on the case back by Teruhira Kamiyama using the same method as
names engraved into the blades of swords.
The latest model showcases the MR-G line’s signature features to give it
a tough, yet sleek design that can elevate any winter look. It has an
all- titanium case, back cover and clasp which have undergone a
deep-hardening treatment to make it five times harder than regular
titanium. It also has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an inner
coating, which enhances its overall clarity and readability.
Tradition and innovation, one-of-a-kind dignity.
The MRGG200RJ-2A bezel is created from Murasaki-gane metal and COBARION®,
premium materials that make the bezel two or three times stronger than
stainless steel. The deep violet Arc Ion Plating (AIP) also gives the
metal a mirror-like, purple finish to complete its sleek style.
In addition, the new watch offers G-SHOCK’s three-way time sync for
accurate time keeping.
This is made possible through Bluetooth®
connectivity, GPS satellite signal reception and Multi-Band 6
technology, which are signature technical capabilities within G-SHOCK’s
premium models. The watch also features Tough Solar technology that
provides self-charging capabilities.
Other features

The characters Jyuryoku are hand engraved on the back covers of the watches by swordsmith Teruhira Kamiyama (who also had a role in crafting the JYURYOKU MARU) using the same technique as that employed for engraving names into the blades of Japanese swords. Jyuryoku means "gravity", which is the meaning of the "G" in both G-SHOCK and MR-G.
