DS Caimano Chronograph: Modern Times

Right on time at the start of the new decade, a popular classic from the Certina Collection appears in a completely new light: the DS Caimano is enhanced by a chronograph version. As one would expect from this classic, timeless line, the sporty new model is presented in a particularly elegant fashion – with a clear design, contemporary typography and refined details. Thanks to the proven concept of Double Security, the new DS Caimano Chronographs are distinguished by their exceptional resistance.

Clear, clean lines

Stylish and functional at the same time - the DS Caimano Chronograph impresses with external and internal value. The clear, minimalist design is characterized by geometric forms.

The round, 42-mm case in stainless steel or titanium encloses a blue, black or white dial with sunray finish. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal, long hands and refined rod indexes along with Arabic numerals ensure excellent readability, guaranteed even in the dark thanks to their Super-LumiNova coating. The watch is worn with a metal bracelet matching the case or with a brown calfskin strap that can easily be removed thanks to a quick-change system.

Tenth-of-a-second precision

The new chronograph is powered by the G10.212 quartz movement, which complements the hours, minutes and stop seconds with a small seconds and a date window at 6 o’clock. Along with the 30-minute counter at 10 o'clock, the chronograph also features a real-time 1/10th of a second display at 2 o'clock – for absolute precision and an entertaining, fast-paced visual spectacle.

Thanks to the proven concept of Double Security, which has rendered Certina watches exceptionally resistant for more than 60 years, this sporty and elegant watch is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 m) and well equipped for any and all adventures in urban life.
