The Cuervo y Sobrinos brand couldn’t miss the chance to draw a parallel between the historical past of its place of origin. Secret beaches, buried treasures: Caribbean islands such as Cuba, Tortuga and Santo Domingo were once a favourite hunting ground for famous pirates. Mirroring this spirit of freedom, daring and adventure, Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to the rebellious and romantic side of the buccaneers.
All the parts of this new timepiece are clearly reminiscent of the brazenness of the great pirates: the case is in the shape of a cannon mouth while the lugs represent the bow of a ship plundering on the Caribbean Sea. The crown subtle design in the shape of the globe and the buckle recaptures the design of the lugs.

The watch can evolve over time by playing with various metals carefully chosen to reflect the pirate spirit. The GMT version is available in bronze with titanium, burnished steel in two versions with white or black dial.

The Torpedo Pirata GMT houses an automatic movement with a second time zone and date at 6 o’clock, water resistant to 5 ATM. Its inner circle is displaying the Arabic numerals with CyS logo inside. The sapphire crystal case-back on each model reveals the details of the mechanism. Engraved on the crystal case-back a unique logo for this model - 2 swords surround the classic CyS logo.
