Augustus I Timepiece by Lang & Heyne
The new model Augustus I of the watch company Lang & Heyne is named in honor of King of Saxony Friedrich August I, who ruled in the nineteenth century. The novelty is equipped with an original calendar of 12 important events. Since each has its own special events, in connection with that the watchmaker will produce this model to order in accordance with the specific wishes of each client. The company expects to produce about 3 copies annually.

The unique watch is presented in a round polished case in 18-carat rose or white gold or platinum. The case diameter - 44 mm, thickness - 12.5 mm. The fluted crown is set at the 3 o`clock position.

New "Caliber VII" for "AUGUSTUS"
The model Augustus I is driven by the German manufacturing movement with manual winding Caliber VII, the details of which is made of 18 - carat gold. The caliber has a frequency of 18000 vibrations per hour and 46 - hour power reserve.

Behind plates and bridges the complex "machine" is secreted. But through a sapphire glass bottom the perfect harmony of the manufacture movement is revealed.

The elaborately angled and engraved golden bridges and cock contrast appealingly with the rhodium-plated movement plate and flat polished steel parts. Even all running wheels including the Moustache-anchor are made of 18 ct gold.

Under the dial an exciting interplay of various wheels and levers takes place. Those parts are controlled by a three-story column wheel within the different modes.
Two Micro-differential-gears combined with a sophisticated program-rail ensure the correct calculation of the respective age.

For each future owner of the LANG & HEYNE calculating machine we construct and manufacture an own program-ring. It contains the 12 for our customer most important persons or anniversaries. Apposite to date, month and the indication of the year the respective age is calculated and displayed accordingly.
