About Ollivier Savelli
Born and raised in France,
Ollivier Savelli started his vocational training in
1984 with the ‘‘Compagnons du Tour de France’’ where he learnt professional excellence and nourished traditional know-how. In
1992, he managed a manufacturing unit in a jewellery store specialized in bespoke high-end products, directly with the customers. In
2000, he won the world recognized price of the ‘‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’’, organized every three years by the French Government.
In
2001, he managed a Research Office of second biggest jewellery producer in France. He had worked with several well-recognized watchmaking brands in Switzerland including in industrial and creative restructuring for a Luxury brand in Asia and Europe. In
2011, he managed a Swiss watch manufacture, involved in industrial and creative restructuring including two world premieres for the watchmaking segment. In
2013,
Ollivier Savelli created and worldwide patented three patents related to watchmaking and plenty of models. In
2015, he created the watchmaking brand
Ollivier Savéo in Geneva.

“My Luxury view is extremely simple: allow the beautiful and the exceptional to make us forget the technics in favor of dreams. Thanks to a multicultural professional past, I can evolve in a creation process without technical and segment limits. Former ‘Compagnon du Tour de France’, a well-known traditional institution for craftsmanship learning, I use construction technics and materials from all the disciplines: traditional jewelry, watchmaking, aeronautics, automotive, architecture, applied arts, modern art, street art and even graphic novels.
I revisit and create thanks to inspirations born from contemplating a vase from the twelfth century in a museum in New York, the shape of the staircase in a Loire Castle, a masterpiece exhibited in Geneva but also in my passions, sports cars, aviation and of course in Nature, inexhaustible source of wonder. Everything is a source of inspiration!
It is the merging of arts, shapes, technics and materials used from the primitive times that leads to a very personal view on artistic watchmaking. Imbued with poetry as well as technique.”

Technics
Hand-made sculpture
Hand-made sculpture allows an artistic realization for any artistic motif. The cross-use of the last high-precision watchmaking technics and high jewelry traditional know-how provides an artistic work on really small elements (less than one millimeter), while keeping a five-hundredth millimeters precision conductive to the watchmaking strictness.
Computing creation
Computer aided artistic and technical creation provides a bridge between the hand and the machine. When its use is pursuant to a perfect know-how, it allows a cohesive link between art and the mechanical constraints necessary to the perfection of the mechanism and high-range watchmaking finishing.
Traditional Jewelry
A
25 years long experience serving the most famous names allow to control all the tools and the know-how from the arts and crafts professions linked to high jewelry. Thanks to them, the most various materials can be shaped, from the most traditional as engraving or enamel to the most innovative like the shaping of composite materials.

Ollivier Savéo into Haute Horlogerie and complications with an exclusive flying Tourbillon movement. The open-worked
Caliber OS-T01 features a distinctive L-Shape, specially designed and built to fit the case and accommodate the race car. The movement has been finished by hand according to Swiss watchmaking traditions and has a 60-hour power reserve.

Presiding over the dial, the hand painted racer is in
130 palladium white gold. It can be entirely customized according to the owner’s wishes. The design elements of the tourbillon cage confer a sportive touch: scale with superluminova indexes and upper bridge with red-superluminova. On the hour and minute ring, the applied indexes bear red superluminova and the dotted hour markers are in superluminova. The case is available in Titanium or carbon fiber. The movement and the racing car can be admired on both sides, through the transparent sapphire case, signed by
