When the bezel is turned 90 degrees, the intensely dark dial clears to allow the secondary information – the « Grande Date » and the «Jours Retrogrades» - to appear.

The R07 LEGEND MAGICAL WATCH DIAL® movement was engineered by Dubois Dépraz in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. A special production was requested by REVELATION to permit the housing of the REVELATION SYSTEM®.

While maintaining the recognisable overall design of the historical models, parts of the new R07 were modified to create an ultra masculine watch, which inaugurates the Grand Sport collections.

The case of the R07 LEGEND was designed to merge harmoniously the most advanced materials such as Carbon Hybrid® or laminated carbon with traditional titanium or black DLC (Diamond Like Coating) stainless steel cases, the two models presented in 2015 and in a near future with precious metals such as gold and platinum.

The technical concept and design of the straps are also an innovation.

Thanks to a special attachment integrating the famous studs - which are an integral part of the DNA of the brand - the unique identity of REVELATION is preserved while the studs maintain their specific function.
The special beaded leather requested an unusual conception.

Breguet Helps Fight Muscular Dystrophy

Breguet and its President & CEO Marc A. Hayek are renewing their support to Only Watch by participating in the 6th edition of the biennial charity auction co-organised by the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy and the Monaco Yacht Show.

Within this context, the Maison has developed a one-of-a-kind creation for this sale, from which the proceeds will benefit research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy: a special Type XXI chronograph, made for the first time in platinum. This model will be on show in Monaco at the end of September before moving on to Hong Kong, Beijing, New York and London. It will end its tour in Geneva, where it will be sold to the highest bidder on November 7th 2015.

Stemming from the wrist chronographs produced by Breguet in 1935, the first Type XX watches were developed to order for the French military and delivered to its air force and navy from 1954 onwards through to the 1970s. Supplied to pilots as standard issue, the Type XX soon became a cult object much sought-after by aviators. This enthusiasm incited Breguet to produce a contemporary civilian version some years later.

The Only Watch model meets Breguet’s current standards in the field of mechanical horology while featuring a vintage style inspired by its predecessor. This Type XXI 3813 is equipped with the special flyback function featured on the original 1950s model. This complication inherently linked to the field of aeronautics enables instant zero-resetting and restarting of the chronograph counter in one smooth move.

Another characteristic of this one-of-a-kind model lies in its central chronograph minutes counter ensuring instant readability. The date aperture and 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock also contribute to its time measurement capabilities. This Type XXI chronograph is also equipped with a day/night indicator and small seconds subdial that round off the main functions.

For the first time, the mechanical self-winding 584Q/1 calibre is housed in a platinum case, fitted with a bidirectional rotating bezel. The design of this 42mm-diameter timepiece renowned for its reliability and sturdiness will appeal to a broad audience because of its undeniable authenticity. Its matt slate grey dial, crafted in an exclusive execution for Only Watch, bears stylised Arabic numerals composed of a white transferred base coated with Superluminova. It is enhanced by luminescent hands and hour-markers.

The sporty and sophisticated Type XXI 3813 chronograph in platinum proves itself entirely worthy of its proud lineage: it is a concentrated blend of technical refinement in a reaffirmed vintage style. Fitted with a aged calfskin leather strap, it is delivered, like any great timepiece, in an exclusive presentation box and accompanied by a “unique piece” certificate.
