Racing is something that you live, not just watch. We are not talking about racing as we call it today. We are talking about genuine racing. The spirit that led the late 19th century brilliant engineers in to create petrol-fuelled machines and race with them. A time when the pleasure to drive was stronger than any competition. The only focus was the track, the car and the sense of a job well done.
In the beginning, the rules of racing were completely different from what they are nowadays. Can you imagine that the main criterion to be able to participate was to have a vehicle with at least three wheels! Cars and mechanics were at the centre, no matter the number of wheels.

Technical improvements were the priority for all. An incredible challenge at that time which was
pure mechanics.

Our traditional motorsport line has been designed and created in this frame of mind. The Silverstone Vintage 30 is streamlined and aesthetically refined to achieve genuine aerodynamics and technology. GRAHAM wanted to get back to racing origins and put its watches at the centre of the track. As carefully as the cars were built, the Silverstone Vintage 30 watch has been created according to the codes of vintage racing and with respect for each part. The “Clous de Paris” decorated bezel, the thin shaped hands and the beige, brown and off-white colours have been elaborately added to the watch. They reflect the desire to preserve the race spirit and primary values.
The GRAHAM Silverstone Vintage 30 is in a non-competition race which rewards watch making savoir-faire and spectators. Get rid of your horse-drawn carriage and experience a true lap with GRAHAM.

Lehmann Uhren - Intemporal Tourbillon

Lehmann Uhren - Intemporal Tourbillon NEW

Schramberg has always been a town of watchmakers. In addition to Junghans and the Hamburg-Amerikanische watch factories, Pfaff & Schlauder was producing mainsprings for pocket watches and K. Mayer & Söhne was making American nickel watches here as early as the 19th century.

The Schramberg Watch Spring Factory and the Mainspring Factory of Carl Weber manufactured precision springs. It is thus not surprising that, at the time, the people of Schramberg, who were full of enthusiasm for technology, were as happy to see one of the first motor cars designed by Gottlieb Daimler as they were to see the more than sixty striking Wilhelminian style buildings to which the watchmaking boom gave rise.

The Gut Berneck residence built for Arthur Junghans in 1911 is one of the finest in the area. Now home to the Lehmann Precision Watch Manufactory, its walls breathe the tradition and culture of watchmaking.

LEHMANN Precision – MANUFAKTUR SCHRAMBERG makes watches that others can not.
Says Markus Lehmann, CEO of LEHMANN Precision and founder of the watch Manufaktur: "Since my childhood I have been fascinated by the diversity of high-precision technologies that interact harmoniously in the smallest of spaces of mechanical watches. Today I love the challenge of fitting a wealth of craftsmanship into our watches. I love the precious materials we use and the harmonious design. My colleagues and I do our utmost every day to ensure that Lehmann precision watches satisfy my requirements as well as yours."

LEHMANN Precision , the mother company then, is a global leader in precision engineering machinery and assemblies, and counts top names in the watch, optical, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries among its customers. Thanks to this knowhow LEHMANN is able to manufacture a high percentage of its components inhouse.

Classic Beauty

Every watch is proof that we are unable to stop time. The timeless design of precision watches from the Lehmann collection, however, also demonstrates that some things do, in fact, last. In the intricately crafted design, the closed horns are connected directly to the back. The sapphire crystal allows a view of the lovely watch movement decoration. In our watches containing a power reserve and tourbillon, radial recesses on the side allow a look at the watch’s inside. The inscription on the back and each watch’s serial number is engraved. The manufactory folding clasp will ensure your watch stays safely on your wrist.

In the mid-19th century watch lovers carried expensive pocket watches. These were topped - as the name already implies - with a crown. By the time wristwatches began to dominate the market in the 1920s, this crown element had long been relegated to the sidelines. Today we are taking this one logical step further:

In cooperation with Andreas Strehler, we are recessing the crown so far into the watch that it will be safely protected during everyday use.

It can be retracted easily and is completely waterresistant. The crown is fascinating as a piece of authentic manufactory workmanship, with diagonal reliefs and finely milled Lehmann Schramberg engraving.

Perfect engraving

What is striking about the intricate masterpiece of a Lehmann precision watch is sometimes that which is not particularly striking. This is why it is worth taking a close look through the glass back into the watch’s movement, which reveals the bridges decorated with Lehmann ornamentation.

These bridges were made using ultra-precision milling machines of our own design, and their precision and dimensional accuracy are unrivalled in the world, representing a skill exclusive to our manufactory: Nowhere will you find engraving more perfect than this.

High-precision watch movements

Before a Lehmann watch plate can be completed, 227 high-precision holes have to be drilled and milled. In order to accurately balance the play of forces in each watch, we first make the base plate, barrel bridge, train bridge and balance cock ourselves.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...

Our headquarters’ know-how also flows into this process because the highly precise finishing of components - within a thousandth of a millimetre - is our metier. As a lover of fine watches you benefit from this unique knowledge.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...

Rotor with Profile

A mechanical watch lives from the energy stored in the barrel. Precision watches from the Lehmann Manufactory draw this energy from a sapphire crystal rotor, patented by Vianney Halter. The single-direction rotor winds the watch using movement on the arm itself. In the manufactory we make the high-precision rotor winding weight with its beautiful lined patterns and the relief-like Lehmann inscription ourselves. This means each Lehmann precision watch can be identified by its individual profile.

When hands tell more than just time

It is rare that a watch manufactory dares to manufacture a watch’s hands. We, however, are guided by the idea of the manufactory with a high vertical range of manufacture. The hands in a Lehmann precision watch impress with high-precision flanks milled to a high polish, solid hand holes and a distinct, fine structure. You can recognise the highly polished contours particularly well on the tips of the hands. So when you look at you watch to see the time, you will be doubly rewarded.

Dial crafted in the manufactory

As the global market leader in technology for air bearing high-frequency spindles, we hit on an idea: Was it possible to implement our extreme accuracy - in thousandths of a millimetre - to create perfect dials?

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...  BIG FOTO

No sooner said than done. We now engrave every dial ourselves, giving the faces of all Lehmann precision watches the exact character that makes our collection unique and unparalleled.

Overcoming gravitational forces

The ideal centre of gravity for the spring, pallet and balance wheel is on the arbor. This ideal condition is never attained, and this state influences the accuracy of every wristwatch. In the tourbillon, the balance wheel rotates on its axis once every minute. This means the rate averages out and the watch runs more accurately. This fascinating and complicated method is how the great designer Abraham Louis Breguet was able to achieve something in 1801 that no one else ever had: to overcome gravitational force in a watch. When you purchase a Lehmann Tourbillon your watch will contain the first tourbillon manufactured in Schramberg.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...    BIG FOTO

The job of our tourbillon is to combine accuracy and beauty in one component. We make the bridge and the tourbillon ourselves out of stainless steel in the manufactory. A glance through the sapphire crystal rewards lovers of fine watches with the most wonderful views. On every bridge you will recognise the high-precision engraved Lehmann Schramberg inscription. Of course the Tourbillon, like all the watches in the collection, comes with a chronometer certificate.

STEINHART - Diver "OCEAN two blue..."

STEINHART - Diver "OCEAN Two Blue..." NEW

Though related by name to the Ocean One, the Ocean Two is a completely new dive watch that has been developed by STEINHART over the course of several years. The in part polished and in part satin finished case as well as the multi-part dial, for example, where designed and produced substantially more complex as compared to its namesake.

Particularly elegant in detail, the inlay of the Ocean Two's 120-click, knurled bezel made of sapphire crystal with its luminiscent markers really stands out as does the crown with similar features. However, the noble appearance of the Ocean Two should not fool anyone into doubting its professional character.

Because with 300 meters water resistance, screw-in crown, domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating as well as a precise and robust Swiss automatic movement the O2 is ready to face pretty much any task.

RJ-Romain Jerome - ART-DNA "Día de los Muertos" Limited Edition

RJ-Romain Jerome ART-DNA "Día de los Muertos" Limited Edition NEW

RJ BREAKING NEWS - RJ celebrates the Día de los Muertos

Every year in Mexico, celebrations honouring the dead brighten up the whole country. Classified as part of UNESCO’s "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" since 2003, the "Día de los Muertos" is the most important date in the Mexican calendar. RJ-Romain Jerome has decided to pay tribute to this traditional custom with a watch in which every detail echoes the joyful, colourful festivities that accompany the Day of the Dead.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...

One has to go back 3,500 years to find the origins of the "Día de los Muertos", when pagan rites of Aztec origin blended with customs inherited from the Spanish colonialists. In Aztec times, people came to the graves of the dead in their families to dance, sing and place offerings intended to fulfil the needs of the dead in the after-life. This tradition did not completely disappear with the arrival of the Spanish colonialists who simply changed the date of the festival so that it coincided with the Christian celebrations on All Saints Day at the beginning of November.

Still today, the "Día de los Muertos" is an occasion for the Mexicans to laugh at death with a certain degree of irony combined with a great deal of humour, derision and sarcasm. Music, sweeties, tequila, brightly coloured decorations and many caricatures of the dead enliven the streets across the country.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...

RJ-Romain Jerome has decided to take its turn celebrating the Day of the Dead with a timepiece available in two different versions, both issued in 25-piece limited editions. Calling upon its watchmaking skill, RJ’s inspiration for the dial of this watch dedicated to the "Día de los Muertos" was drawn from traditional Mexican decorations. A carefully hand-crafted colourful applique adorned with a champlevé decoration, cold enamelled in different colours, emulates the look of the "calaveras" – the skulls made of sugar given away by the Mexicans as good luck tokens during the entire festival.

Click on the mouse wheel to see the large size ...

The seven colours on the applique are a reminder of the seven stages through which the soul of the dead must pass before being able to rest in peace. The case is made of black PVD-coated steel, associated with a bezel and “paws” in black ceramic. The mirror-polished dial features an engraving of the brand’s emblematic X shape, along with the applied RJ logo. The watch is fitted with a black Hornback alligator strap. The sombre colours of these different elements evoke those of darkness and make a striking with the bright colours of the skull-shaped applique.

This way of perceiving death, tinged with light-hearted irony, is unique to the Mexican culture to which RJ-Romain Jerome is paying tribute. With this timepiece in homage to the "Día de los Muertos", the watchmaking Maison can also claim to have tamed death and thus made it a playmate.
