A follow up to ID One, which was released in 2009, the ID Two uses Cartier's DRIE machining technology and what they have labeled as “carbon crystal”, a diamond-coated lubricant that ensures the watch has that element of lasting quality.

The timepiece has a 42mm wide case made from ceramic and a 99.5% air-free space inside which reduces friction.
Cartier prides itself upon being innovative and creative, and this new timepiece is no exception.
