The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.
According to Buddhism, every person has the potential to become perfect and enlightened, and it is just a matter of time until each human reaches the light.
Buddhists believe that it's necessary to be reborn thousands of times, polishing one's being through many incarnations, until one reaches nirvana – the highest state of consciousness that humans can access.

The 7th Le Mans Classic will take place on July 4, 5 and 6.  
Richard Mille will once again be there as Main Partner and Official Timekeeper of the race. The Jura watchmaker has supported this competition since the first event in 2002.

This retrospective of the “24 Heures du Mans” is the chance for thousands of car enthusiasts to meet around the Bugatti track. Le Mans Classic revives more than 80 years of automobile sport history by bringing back the cars and the pilots who created the legend of the most famous race in the world on the great 13 kilometer Le Mans circuit.

As a tribute to this exceptional race, Richard Mille will introduce a limited edition watch, the RM 030 Le Mans Classic, the fourth piece to carry the name of the competition.
For this automatic winding caliber, Richard Mille developed a rotor that would prevent overwinding thanks to its capacity to automatically disconnect from the rotor’s winding mechanism when the spring is fully wound. Additionally, this new mechanism is linked to the power reserve indicator placed at 9 o’clock to provide an optimal winding control with the best ratio of constant torque/power.

The RM 030 LMC also has a 24 hours display placed at 2 o’clock. The indication “16”references to the depart time of the endurance race, is a discrete homage to the event.
The RM 030 LMC displays the colors of the historic race inside of its movement as well as its white ATZ ceramic case and with the rubber of the NTPT® crown. This special edition will be a limited series of a 100 pieces.

The Grande Seconde Tourbillon Aventurine is a jewelry watch; its bezel, lugs and the contours of the famous figure 8 motifs are set with 382 brilliant cut diamonds.  The aventurine, with its scattering of tiny gleaming shards, is made yet more splendid by the fire in the precious stones, conjuring up a veritable night sky in miniature, echoed by the blued steel hands. Getting ready for summer is on everyone’s mind... So why not add some colour to your wrist ? RJ-Romain Jerome introduces its new Steampunk timepiece that plays with the contrast of light and dark, bringing new colours that will brighten your upcoming summer days.

RJ-Romain Jerome launches new colourful timepieces for the automatic edition of the Steampunk collection. Inspired by the original iconoclastic timepiece, the new model plays with the brands signature aesthetic codes combined with a retro-futuristic design. Housed in a black PVD-coated steel 50 mm case, the movement has been striped down to provide an unobstructed view of the sturdy, circular graining and rigorously beadblasted blackened bridges. Inspired by Steampunk, the surface of the indexes has been hand-worked directly on the movement’s bridges, creating the unique RJ-Romain Jerome “rough” finish.

The Roman XII and VI numerals, the logo and the hexagonal crown have been coloured in yellow, white, red, blue, green and orange depending on the model. Each piece showcases a mysterious sense of depth by creating a contrast between the blackened face of the watch and the colourful elements. The colour of the watch is made even more striking thanks to a black alligator leather strap, adorned with matching coloured stitching. Every detail from these Swiss Made timepieces, takes you back to the metallic and blackened engine rooms of the industrial revolution which inspired the Steampunk aesthetic. The automatic movement has a power reserve of 42 hours, which winds the propeller shaped second hand at 9 o’clock – reminding us of the majestic propellers of the transatlantic ships from the 20th Century.

The hour and minute hands have also been designed in the shape of anchors. The satin finished bezel is coated in black PVD, drawing your eyes to the surface of the movement that is held in place by four screwed-down pistons with visible springs, symbolising RJ-Romain Jerome’s signature “X” motif.
