Luminescence has always been at the heart of innovative Swiss watchmaking know-how. To follow up our quest for new technologies, the Predator APNEA presents a new type of dial, never seen in the history of REBELLION Timepieces. Three-dimensional luminescent elements, produced using machines that are unique in the world, have made it possible to create a spectacular three-dimensional display, as aesthetic as it is practical.

Hence, luminescent material is omnipresent on the new honeycomb dial of the Predator APNEA in order to guarantee optimal readability in all light conditions. As for elsewhere, the watch is adorned with XXL size numerals, inserts in the indexes and the date window, which are moulded to form blocks of Super-LumiNova blue. The use of SLN Blocks technology allows for strong luminescence in the dark with intense blue emission.

As with any diving watch, the presence of a large black bezel also secures all dives with its scale of great clarity. Easy to handle, it allows the choice of calculating the elapsed immersion time or the remaining time. With a little bit of know-how, travellers can even use it to read a second time zone. Unidirectional, it avoids any incident or false manoeuvre, which could reduce the limits initially set in terms of air reserve or decompressiontime.

The Predator APNEA timepiece has a robust and lightweight 48mm-diameter case in grade 5 titanium black DLC. Water-resistant to 100 meters, it ideally protects the Swiss Made calibre set at 28,000 vibrations per hour. The automatic movement guarantees at least 48 hours of power reserve for the time data as well as the date displayed in its window positioned at 3 o’clock.

The Predator APNEA diving watch comes with a comfortable rubber strap. The presence of a patented folding clasp secures it when worn in town or on a thick neoprene suit.

On the Rebellion RE-Volt Carbon Forged Bruno Senna, the essentials are displayed on the wrist. Its skeletonised calibre proudly adorns the colours of the driver’s native Brazil. The green indexes stand out from the yellow bars. A pair of hour and minute hands, tinted blue and coated with luminescent material, pass over this technical architecture. All in lightness, Rebellion signs a composition with a design of great purity and great readability. The timepiece is enhanced by a forged carbon rectangular case (40.35x38.5x13.5 mm), which presents a pattern with random markings making each copy unique. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal present on both sides of the case allows the light to circulate. All the components of this layered mechanical architecture are then ideally highlighted and at the same time participate in the unique aesthetics of the timepiece.

The Rebellion RE-Volt Carbon Forged Bruno Senna presents the pilot’s signature at 6 o’clock on its sapphire.

Like all timepieces in the RE-Volt collection, this limited series is powered by the calibre developed in-house and assembled by Rebellion watchmakers using 165 components. This manual-winding movement, with a frequency of 28,000 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, offers a power reserve of at least 48 hours once wound.

The Rebellion RE-Volt Carbon Forged Bruno Senna limited edition comes with a strap that is as robust as it is comfortable, made of black vulcanised rubber and finished with a folding clasp. The timepiece comes with a second easily interchangeable yellow strap.

The RE-Volt collection models are available in many technical materials: titanium, titanium DLC , forged carbon and 5N rose gold. On the case middle, the text of your choice can be displayed on a customisable plate. A wide range of strap colours is available: black, brown, grey, red, blue, yellow, green, mauve, white, orange. This can optionally receive a patented quadruple folding clasp, which allows millimetre adjustment for maximum comfort and security.

The Principality of Monaco will host the first stop of this itinerant exhibition, on the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show, from 25 to 28 September.

Partnership talks began following IDEC Sport Sailing’s successful 2017 attempt to break the Jules Verne Trophy Record with a time of 40 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes and 30 seconds. This trophy is awarded for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe by any type of yacht. It is named after the author of the novel Around the World in Eighty Days.

THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the oldest and most renowned competition in endurance racing. Held annually since 1923 in the French town of Le Mans, four classes of sports cars battle for 24 hours to see who can complete the most laps before the checkered flag drops.
