A Sculpted Architectural Case

The case, measuring 40.25 mm in width and 49.05 mm in length and crafted from Stainless Steel, builds this identity through a clear, sculpted architecture. A bezel with unprecedented proportions immediately asserts its character, while pronounced angles and elongated curves create an impression of continuous motion.

Innovative Double-Barrel Movement

At the heart of this timekeeper is found the in-house MVT 3100-CS1 movement. Powering the triple-jumping complication required solving the challenge of delivering sufficient energy for the simultaneous jumps of hours, minutes, and date.

Franck Muller’s watchmakers met this with an innovative double-barrel system: the first barrel, located at 12 o’clock, drives the hours and minutes discs, while the second barrel, positioned at 6 o’clock, powers the movement and the date disc. This clever design ensures consistent torque and flawless precision throughout the power reserve.

Technological Triumph

The jumping hour disc, displayed prominently at 12 o’clock, is joined by two meticulously crafted central discs that display the tens and units of the minutes. Positioned harmoniously at the base of the dial, the jumping date disc completes the trio, advancing with flawless mechanical precision.

Marcos Cojab, known artistically as .ALQUIMIAMC, is a Mexican architect and sculptor whose work explores the intersection of material, form and symbolism. Since 2014, he has developed a distinctive sculptural language combining metals such as silver, gold, copper and bronze through his own electrodeposition process. Recognized for his reinterpretation of the skull motif, his creations have been exhibited internationally at Art Basel Miami, Scope New York, FIAC Paris, Museo Soumaya and Zona Maco.
