After celebrating mechanics in its most spectacular form, then exploring the demands of competitive performance, H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports are embarking on a new chapter in their collaboration.

This time, their focus is on the material. For the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition, the third model born of this partnership, the Manufacture has chosen an anthracite grey ceramic case, contrasted by the blue finish of the bridges and main plate.

Demanding, contemporary and unalterable, this material highlights the fluid lines of the Streamliner collection while providing a spectacular setting for a fully skeletonised movement.

When H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports launched their partnership in 2024, the aim was never simply to place a logo on a dial. The two brands wanted to build something together: to bring their expertise, technical requirements and vision of performance into dialogue.

After the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition, designed around mechanics visible from every angle, and the duo comprising the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition, created as closely as possible around professional requirements, comes the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine Limited Edition, which explores another territory shared by the two houses: that of materials.

Because in motorsport, as in Haute Horlogerie, performance resides not only in architecture or mechanics. It also comes from the choice of materials, their behaviour and their ability to combine lightness, strength and precision.

Faithful to the skeletonised aesthetic sought from the outset by the members of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team, this third creation retains the complete openness onto the mechanics, allowing the movement to be seen in motion and each beat to be observed. But this time, the anthracite grey ceramic case changes the perception of the whole.

While most materials change over time, ceramic resists it. Almost scratch-resistant, unalterable, hypoallergenic and lightweight, it retains its appearance year after year. It does not oxidise. It does not develop a patina. It remains true to itself. At H. Moser & Cie., this material is making its second appearance here.

A choice rooted in conviction: certain forms deserve a material capable of standing the test of time without being affected. Since its launch, the Streamliner collection has explored fluidity. Nothing about it is angular or discontinuous.

The lines flow naturally, as if shaped by motion itself. Ceramic further enhances this aesthetic language. Alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, the 40 mm case invites a play of light, revealing the depth of the material from every angle. It is extended by an integrated blue Alcantara strap.

With this model, H. Moser & Cie. embraces its philosophy of minimalism, removing elements to reveal more. Entirely skeletonised, the dial reveals the architecture of the HMC 814 calibre in the finest detail. The bridges and main plate feature a blue finish inspired by the Alpine universe, as does the tourbillon bridge. The openworked barrel reinforces this impression of lightness and transparency.

Made from Globolight®, the indices and the inserts on the three-dimensional hour and minute hands provide a strong visual signature and perfect legibility. This material combines a ceramic base with Super-LumiNova®.

At 6 o’clock, the one-minute flying double hairspring tourbillon appears to float in mid-air. Designed and produced in-house by Precision Engineering AG, the double hairspring improves precision and isochronism by compensating for variations in the centre of gravity generated during the expansion of the springs.
