introduces two new Luminor novelties to the

Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa PAM01654 and the

elements of the Luminor collection remain steadfast, from the signature
crownprotecting device with lever - a distinctive feature that defines
Panerai’s identity and storied history - to the luminous dial, offering
optimal readability in all conditions. The rhodium small seconds display
further supports performance by allowing users to verify functionality
with ease. The references utilize the Super-LumiNova® X1 on markers and
hands, ensuring the watch is easily readable even in low-light

PAM01653
is crafted from premium AISI
316LVM - 1.4441 stainless steel, known for
its strength and corrosion resistance. It is vacuum arc remelted to
maximize purity and therefore it improves the resistance to corrosion.
This high-quality alloy consists of iron with a chromium content of
17.0-19.0%, 13.0-15.0% of nickel, and
2.5-3.2% molybdenum for the main
alloying elements. This variant is interesting as it is remelted,
providing the alloy a high level of cleanliness and a high
microstructure homogeneity; thus, resulting in a superior polished
finish and enhanced corrosion resistance. Polished and brushed finishes
emphasise further the timepieces’ design as well as
Panerai’s
longstanding watchmaking expertise.

water resistance value to ensure it meets

The
Luminor Chrono Flyback Luna Rossa PAM01654,
a
limited edition of
150 pieces, boasts a Titanium 44mm case,
emphasizing the robustness and boldness that define
Panerai’s tool
watches. This material is much lighter than steel, known for its
strength, comparable with that of steel but with 44% less weight, making
the watch more comfortable on the wrist and thus an ideal choice for
those who prioritize both resilience and comfort. It is resistant to
corrosion and physical wear, providing robustness and longevity for
everyday use.

by the
P.9100 caliber,
Panerai’s first automatic movement with
chronograph functions, it is designed to meet
Panerai’s stringent
mechanical standards. It incorporates the flyback chronograph function,
with tachymeter scale for nautical use. This key feature allows the
chronograph hands to reset to zero and restart instantly with a single
press. This eliminates the need for the traditional three-step process
of stopping, resetting and restarting. The push-button operates the
flyback function at 8 o’clock, which also resets the hands to zero when
the chronograph is stopped. The pusher is marked by R for reset and F
for flyback with red lacquered details to add a dynamic flair.

The
caliber is also characterized by a vertical clutch and column wheel
mechanism, with chronograph minutes displayed by a central hand that
jumps forward every 60 seconds. Equipped with two patented mechanisms,
the movement boasts a
72-hour power reserve, achieved through twin
spring barrels in series. These longer, thinner springs ensure a more
consistent and extended energy supply. The caliber is visible through a
sapphire crystal open case back. Boasting a grey matt-tone sandwich
dial,
PAM01654 embodies the bold and technical ethos of
Luna Rossa team
and is accented with striking red details and the team decal. The
sub-dials are thoughtfully positioned for symmetric balance and
readability, while the red chronograph hands add a dynamic touch.

Luminor Luna Rossa PAM01653.
The sporty-casual design is encapsulated in a
44mm case with
Panerai’s
distinctive crown-protecting device and a minimalist grey sandwich dial.
The engraved indices and clean layout emphasize legibility and
functionality with the
Luna Rossa decal positioned at 6 o’clock and the
smallsecond sub-dial at 9 o’clock, while subtle red accents represent
the team’s hues.

The new timepiece is powered by the P.6000 calibre, a
hand-wound movement with a threeday power reserve. It measures 15½
lignes in diameter and features a balance wheel that oscillates at
21,600 vibrations per hour. A traversing balance bridge that securely
positions the oscillator enhances the movement’s stability and
precision. Additionally, the P.6000 includes a stop-second function,
which halts the balance wheel and seconds hand when the winding crown is
pulled out, allowing for precise time adjustments.
