The considerate evolution in design marks a confident turn in the model’s look, with reworked proportions, added richness and subtlety. Presented as a world premiere during Dubai Watch Week, enthusiasts can discover Renaud Tixier’s new dials in-store at Perpétuel Gallery, the first and only authorized dealer for the brand in the region.
An innovative caliber shaped by artistry
The Monday is the first of seven horological creations that revisit the archetypes of traditional watchmaking. This inaugural creation addresses the winding inefficiencies of a movement powered by a micro-rotor for the first time.

By adding an inertia wheel at the heart of the selfwinding mechanism, a patented invention from Dominique Renaud, the watch captures energy that would otherwise be lost.

This innovative movement is made up of more than 250 components and is executed with a level of finishing on par with the best of the best, including no fewer than 187 inner beveled angles, thanks to Julien Tixier’s expertise in traditional crafts.

Since its debut, the Monday collection has sought to honor métiers d’art: enamel and engraving were introduced from the very first model, with a visible barrel ratchet-wheel covr that is hand-chiseled and finished in violet grand feu enamel, a vibrant accent that makes the craft part of the spectacle of function.

The case continues this dialogue between engineering and artistry with hand engraving along the flanks and between the lugs.
Fresh Faces, Lasting Codes
Complementing the Monday’s architectural, neoclassical aesthetic, the brand set out to refine its identity. The new dials draw on the quiet strength of sector layouts to convey a more assertive character while preserving the overall look.

The composition is framed by a larger flange that echoes the geometry of the minute track and lends the display greater depth. Applied indices grow bolder and more sculptural, with a double index at twelve to anchor orientation at a glance. The small seconds ring is reinterpreted to mirror the outer minute track, creating a taut visual dialogue between the perimeter and the center. At the heart of the dial, the Maison’s signature grainé texture is now enlivened by a circular satin finish, a subtle interplay that recalls the chiseled spaces along the case flank and between the lugs.

Branding is intentionally discreet: the logotype is repositioned, maintaining a minimal signature that lets the craft speak first. Altogether, the dial architecture gains complexity that balances the intricacies of the movement, yielding a display that feels both calmer to read and richer to contemplate.

Two colorways introduce distinct temperaments within this new language. British Racing Green brings a warm, sporting elegance to the rose gold case and is paired with a green leather strap featuring a textile-like texture that underlines the dial’s relief. Petrol Blue, cased in white gold and matched to a suede blue leather strap, reads with cool elegance, allowing the sector inspiration and the re-proportioned markings to assert their graphic poise.
