 Since 1882, Cuervo y Sobrinos has embodied the spirit of “Born in la Habana”, celebrating the vibrant elegance of Cuba’s capital, a city that, in the 1930s, captivated the world with its glamour, culture, and refinement.

The Espléndidos collection draws its name from a distinguished type of cigar, a nod to the brand’s enduring ties to Havana’s legendary cigar lounges — places where time slows down and craftsmanship is revered.

The Espléndidos Heritage features the unmistakable curved rectangular case that first appeared in Cuervo y Sobrinos designs during the 1930s — the brand’s era of greatest international success.

Swiss Savoir Faire and The Heart of Excellence

The dial of the Espléndidos Heritage is a masterpiece of layered textures and details.

Its multi-level construction features a lacquered finish combined with a refined Clou de Paris center, separated by a distinctive screwed-in ring that highlights the contrast between the two surfaces.

 A distinctive “bague” elegantly frames the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, separating it from the hour indices with a subtle change in texture — a hallmark of Cuervo y Sobrinos’ dedication to artisanal craftsmanship.

Key elements of the dial are elegantly engraved on the dial: the emblem with red accents, Cuervo y Sobrinos, 1882, and Habana – features always present in the new models.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, connoisseurs can admire the finely decorated La Joux-Perret G120 automatic movement.

The new collection is offered in two captivating versions:

• Espléndidos Heritage Limited Edition — featuring a warm light cream dial with rose gold accents, limited to just 82 pieces in homage to the brand’s founding year, 1882.

• Espléndidos Heritage Black — a striking interpretation with a deep black lacquered dial and contrasting silver details, available as a regular production model.

Finishing Touches

Both timepieces are paired with a hand-stitched Louisiana alligator strap — gold high-gloss for the cream dial and black matte for the black dial — secured with an open-worked stainless steel clasp engraved with the CyS emblem.
