Clear readability and precision

This concept does not compromise on precise time measurement, thanks to its minimalist display. Prominent, large sword hands and the restrained design of all elements irrelevant to diving—such as additional functions or markings on the dial and captive bezel—form essential design features.

For secure readability, especially of reference times in darkness or under adverse visibility conditions, the watch employs colour coding: the hour hand and dial indices glow green, while the minute and second hands, as well as the main marker on the bezel, glow blue. Additionally, the crown is located at 4 o’clock and prevents pressure on the back of the hand, even during physically demanding activities.

Technical elegance with high functionality

The T50 GOLDBRONZE B embodies a design that emphasizes technical sophistication and prioritizes operational safety above all else. The Goldbronze 125 harmonizes seamlessly with the perfectly legible dark blue dial, giving the watch an elegant appearance. Securely attached to the case, it is both non-detachable and safeguarded against accidental adjustments. This is the memorable principle behind the simple yet effective anti-twist mechanism: "Press first, then turn." This ensures the bezel stays in place under demanding conditions.

As an additional safety feature, the Ar‑Dehumidifying Technology enhances functionality and prevents fogging, ensuring reliability even in challenging environments.

Expertise in metallurgy

With the T50 GOLDBRONZE B, we once again showcase our exceptional expertise in the field of metallurgy. To fully appreciate the value of this remarkable timepiece, it is important to note that we use a proprietary bronze alloy developed in-house. This Goldbronze 125 is composed of one-eighth gold and features an exceptionally high degree of purity in its alloy components.

Bronze, historically favored for a wide range of maritime applications, takes on a new dimension in Goldbronze 125. Its extraordinary purity enhances both skin compatibility and corrosion resistance to seawater. While Goldbronze 125 also naturally develops a darker patina through oxidation, the inclusion of gold in the alloy significantly reduces its reactivity to environmental influences. As a result, the surface darkens much more slowly than conventional bronze. Additionally, light oxidation can be easily removed using the special Goldbronze cleaning cloth provided with the watch.

To eliminate the possibility of skin reactions entirely, the T50 GOLDBRONZE B is equipped with a titanium case back, combining technical ingenuity with wearer comfort.

The use of exceptional materials creates a fascinating connection between our company and the ship’s bronze propeller (commonly referred to as a ship’s screw) of the submarine U 15, a submarine of the German Navy’s Class 206. Ship’s bronze has a long-standing tradition, particularly in the manufacture of ship’s propellers designed for seawater applications.

For us, the skin compatibility of case materials in watchmaking is equally important. The reality is that this characteristic has been significantly limited in all conventional bronze alloys to date. Therefore, we have taken the innovative step of further developing bronze as a case material. The result is our patented Goldbronze 125 alloy, which was first introduced in 2023 with our diver’s watch, the T50 GOLDBRONZE.

The Original – The Propeller of the legendary decommissioned Submarine U 15. This authentic component made from ship’s bronze, weighing approximately 1.1 tons, reliably powered the U 15 above and below water for decades. Today, this impressive propeller proudly adorns our company headquarters.

To better understand the traditional background of the model 156.1 E, it is important to know that the original predecessor is the model 155. As the successor to this timepiece, our company developed the 156 and 156 MILITARY models - all watches that are now true icons.

60-minute stopwatch hand from the dial centre

The modern, innovative character of the model 156.1 E is reflected in our in-house chronograph movement SZ01, which features a 60-minute stopwatch hand from the dial centre.

The advantage: stop times can be recorded more easily, quickly and accurately - a clear gain in terms of clear readability. This movement is integrated into a newly designed case with a screw-in back, which is aesthetically modelled on its historical predecessors with a 43 mm diameter sliding case.

However, the 156.1 E model now has a sapphire crystal cover glass, which is more scratch-resistant than the acrylic glass used in the original model. The pilot's bezel is captively connected to the case and can be rotated smoothly without detend - another innovation that is being introduced to the SINN range in this form for the first time with the 156.1 model.

The TEGIMENT Technology of the pilot's bezel is also an important prerequisite for the application of the Hard Coating in anthracite, which proves to be extremely durable as a result.

Date display in the form of the Kollsman window of an aviation altimeter

As a striking detail, the pilot's rotating bezel, unlike the historical models, has a luminescent fixed point in the marking at twelve o'clock, which makes it possible to clearly identify the position of the set reference time in the dark.

 The numerals as well as the hour and minute hands are covered with ivory-coloured luminescent colour. This type of contrasting application conveys a stylish vintage look and creates a further visual link to history. And lovers of historical pilot's chronographs will also be delighted:

The design of the date display at 3 o'clock is reminiscent of the Kollsman window of a barometric aviation altimeter, which is used to set the reference air pressure. Similar to the reference pressure on the altimeter, this display must be manually adjusted to the location in order for the watch to function fully.

We are pleased to present our second pilot watch with a historically inspired design in the legendary 155 series in collaboration with the specialist watch magazine REVOLUTION. Shortly after we released just 150 pieces of our special edition 155 Revolution in 2019, we had the spark of an idea for a follow-up watch.

And we knew we wanted to extend this partnership back then too. The result is the 155 S Revolution II (Sinn 155 S Bright Star TEGIMENT®) special edition limited to 300 pieces. It has a historically inspired design and signature SINN technology.

Think of it as a new version of a classic. This chronograph follows the historical dimensions, but its design has been updated for the here and now – and beyond – with its exceptional scratch resistance and fully black design.

The 155 S Revolution II has the original measurements spot on, with its case diameter coming in at 43 mm. It also has the same bidirectional rotating pilot’s bezel with a minute scale, classic bicompax display with small advancing seconds and 30-minute counter, and large stopwatch second hand display from the dial centre.

But the SINN TEGIMENT Technology and Black Hard Coating are brand-new additions to the case and pilot’s bezel for this model. While the crystal was made from acrylic previously, it is now made from sapphire crystal (a novelty in the history of the 155 model).

We also made the decision with our partner REVOLUTION to replicate the historical hands on the ‘Bundeswehr Chronograph for Pilots’ from the 1960s. This gives the watch a strong historical connection, highlighting the commitment to tradition down to the finest detail of this pilot chronograph.

Which watches embody the essence of our company best of all? The answer to this question is easy for connoisseurs of our brand: the timepieces from the 103 series, which have been part of our collection as classic pilot chronographs since the mid-1960s and have since become the defining ambassadors for our company. Some watch lovers will no doubt remember that in the early days – in addition to timepieces with automatic movements – individual models also featured acrylic glass and hand-wound movements.

Is it the love of tradition and the art of watchmaking that made SINN watches so popular with such a movement? Or was it the more intensive connection to the phenomenon of time, coupled with the daily ritual of winding the watch? The truth is that this fascination is probably born of various different preferences and values.

With this in mind, the 103 St Ty Hd model is a contemporary tribute to its prestigious predecessors, as it is also equipped with shock-resistant acrylic glass and hand-wound movement with a power reserve of more than 58 hours. Furthermore, a SINN watch with a hand-wound movement from the 103 series was last officially available around 20 years ago, which makes the release of the 103 St Ty Hd model all the more special still.

The special calibre is a classic Tri-Compax chronograph dedicated to functionality: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock on a matt black dial. The symmetrical, V-shaped arrangement of the counters in matt-silk light yellow creates a wonderfully balanced aesthetic and creative design. In keeping with this, the stopwatch second hand and stopwatch minute display are dark red for improved emphasis and thus legibility – a specification also reflected by the stopwatch minute scale. In the interests of faster time recording, the first ten minutes are shown alternately in black and red.

High-quality faceted attached appliqués adorn the matt black dial. In combination with the faceted hour and minute hands, the watch exudes elegance and, thanks to the elements with luminous effect, is also legible in the dark.

Another complication – the tachymeter scale on the interior bezel – satisfies the desire of watch connoisseurs for the precise, manual measurement of speeds from 60 km/h to 600 km/h.
Low pressure resistant, waterproof and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar, these additional features guarantee a high level of suitability for everyday use.

All in all, this 103 is a worthy member of a long-established series of renowned SINN watches, which, not least because of its limited edition of 1,000 pieces, looks set to become a coveted collector’s item.
