We are proud to present a new Experience within the Italianity chapter: a true journey through time, offering our clients an immersive entry into the very genesis of our legend. This exclusive opportunity is reserved for the owners of the new Radiomir Viaggio Nel Tempo Experience Set, with both PAM01729 and PAM01730 masterfully reinterpreting some of Panerai’s most iconic Radiomir features. Together, the two new watches not only perpetuate heritage within contemporary design timepieces but also testify Panerai’s unwavering faithfulness to its origins” states Alessandro Ficarelli, Chief Marketing and Product Officer of Panerai.

Scheduled from September 15th to 18th, 2026, the journey commences in Florence, the heart of the Maison’s legacy. Guests will embark on an emotionally resonant exploration of the brand’s storied past. Within the city’s embrace, they will celebrate a century of Panerai’s Florentine boutique presence in Piazza San Giovanni through a meticulously curated exhibition.

The itinerary then leads participants to retrace the heroic footsteps of the legendary Italian frogmen, exploring their original meeting grounds, training arenas, and diving points at the mouth of the Serchio River. These foundational locales, each brimming with historical resonance and captivating narratives, will illuminate the intricate tapestry of Panerai’s heritage.

The expedition culminates with a visit to the COMSUBIN base in Porto Venere, followed by a breathtaking yacht tour along the Ligurian coastline, a powerful evocation of the brand’s profound maritime roots. This voyage through time is thoughtfully complemented by the new Radiomir Viaggio Nel Tempo Experience Set, comprising PAM01729 and PAM01730, which marks the first time the Maison associates a Watch Set with one of its Experiences.

Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience PAM01729

An icon forged from history, the new Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience PAM01729 achieves a powerful first. The new watch, part of Maison’s first ever Experience Watch Set, combines two of Panerai’s most iconic and historically significant features: the distinctive California dial configuration with a commanding 47mm bronze case, a material deeply rooted in the brand’s profound maritime legacy.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The California Dial owes its fame to the distinctive alternation of Roman and Arabic numerals on its two halves, a feature that has made it a favorite among collectors. It also perfectly embodies the concept of functional design: a design born from necessity, conceived to ensure superior readability in dark conditions, where the two distinct halves provided an immediate indication of the dial’s orientation.

📸Foto -Time+Tide

Legend has it that the California dial got its particular name from a dial restoration company in California that became known for modifying this kind of watch dial and leading collectors to dub them “California”.

The PAM01729’s 47mm bronze case boasts a special composition, where the use of pure copper and pure tin promotes the creation of a distinctive patina on the surface. Thanks to this special evolution, this alloy has become a true asset for the Maison, solidifying Panerai’s bronze timepieces as some of the most sought-after. The aging process of bronze is truly fascinating, as every piece evolves with the owner’s life, acquiring a distinctive appearance: when new, it exhibits a warm, red gold-like hue, gradually developing a patina that arises from its interaction with external elements such as air, moisture, heat, and friction.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

While this patina doesn’t alter the material’s inherent properties, this protective layer imbues each piece with a unique appearance while safeguarding the material itself. This evolving character makes PAM01729 an ideal companion for this new Experience through time, poised to accompany owners through the brand’s history, preserving their memories within its distinctive surface. PAM01729’s vintage appeal is reinforced by its slim wire lugs and cone-shaped crown, signature features of the historic dive watches from the mid-1930s and 1940s.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

PAM01729 is powered by the P.3000 calibre with 3 days power reserve, a large movement that draws inspiration from historic Panerai models. With a diameter of 16½ lignes, its construction resembles a three-quarter plate movement, with a large bridge alongside a smaller one covering most mechanical parts.

This setup is secured by thick screws, creating a rigid structure that enhances shock resistance. Two spring barrels connected in a series of long, thin springs deliver a more consistent force over time.

Bar markers and a minute track complete the dial’s layout, while a black dial creates a striking backdrop for the blue burnished steel hands, whose distinctive blue hue echoes the heritage of fine watchmaking, when bluing was essential for protecting against corrosion and improving legibility. This signature hue is now achieved through a controlled oxidation process at about 300°C.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The vintage appeal of the dial is accentuated with a domed PLEXIGLAS® crystal, recalling the design of the early dive watches with a luminescent Radiomir dial, developed for the Italian Navy. Beige Super-LumiNova® adds a vintage touch and ensures optimal visibility in low light, emitting a green glow in the dark.

The titanium open caseback features a sapphire glass, providing a privileged glimpse into the heart of the timepiece: the P.3000 calibre, developed in Panerai’s Manufacture in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. PAM01729’s look is complemented by a dark brown rolled leather strap, featuring a flat and understated vintage construction, and a bronze pin buckle with a trapezoidal shape, recalling the historic Panerai watches covered by the military secret.

Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience PAM01730

The second timepiece pairs a 47mm Radiomir with Panerai Platinumtech™. The Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience PAM01730 features a special alloy made with 95% pure platinum that boasts an 85% increase in hardness than standard platinum due to a distinctive treatment process.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Providing a higher scratch resistance than standard platinum, this material weights 33% more than 18-carat gold, giving the new timepiece a notable heft.

With its cushion-shaped case, domed PLEXIGLAS® crystal, slim wire lugs, and cone-shaped crown, the PAM01730 perfectly completes the Watch Set’s vintage allure, embodying the defining hallmarks of the early dive watch prototypes with a luminescent Radiomir dial – features that have not only become iconic elements of the collection but also serve as testaments to the brand’s military heritage.

PAM01730 introduces a more elaborate expression of Panerai contemporary watchmaking through the decorated hand-wound P.3001/10 calibre. Its skeletonized bridges, finished with perlage, allow a clear view of the calibre’s architecture and the balance wheel in motion.

A power-reserve indicator positioned on the back preserves the purity of the dial while offering practical oversight of its running time. Its elevated finish makes it particularly appreciated by collectors who value mechanical detail.

PAM01730 features for the very first time a black circular-brushed dial, which presents the Maison’s signature sandwich construction, historically featured in Panerai’s early dive watches to enhance readability even in total darkness. This captivating visual effect is achieved through a hand-executed rotational brushing technique, resulting in micro-circles that ensure each piece develops its own slight variations.

This results in responsiveness to light, allowing the black tone to deepen and come alive in sunlight thanks to the circular patterning.

This is complemented by a tone-on-tone ‘Radiomir Panerai’ inscription, engraved directly into the dial and resulting in a nearly invisible appearance, subtly evoking the secret nature of early Panerai’s dive watches for the Italian Navy.

Like PAM01729, also PAM01730 features blue burnished steel hands, with the blue hue echoing Panerai’s legacy. Beige Super-LumiNova® on hands and numerals emits a green glow in the dark and ensures optimal visibility in low light.

Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience Set PAM01730 understated look is complemented by a dark brown alligator strap and a polished white gold buckle with a trapezoidal shape. Both references are water resistant up to 10 bar (~100 meters) and, as with all Panerai timepieces, they are designed, developed and tested to +25% of their stated water resistance.

Available only in 30 sets, the two watches come in a special mahogany presentation case and will be available starting from June 2026.

 Bronze, legacy forged by time

A material deeply connected to Panerai’s maritime heritage, bronze embodies the Maison’s spirit of innovation and enduring bond to the sea. Its patina evolves with time as lived, creating a surface as individual as the owner. Every watch ages with a unique identity, becoming a companion shaped by the adventures it experiences.

Following the success of the new Luminor Marina series in steel and titanium, unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2025, Panerai introduces bronze to its most iconic collection for the first time. The new Luminor Marina PAM01678 marks a significant milestone as the first-ever Luminor Marina crafted in bronze, poised to become the Maison’s next highly coveted tool watch.

Historically valued in the construction of vintage yachts and ship components for its durability and resistance to seawater, bronze was a crucial material before the widespread adoption of stainless steel.

Panerai pioneered its use in watchmaking with the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Bronzo 47mm - PAM00382 in 2011, establishing bronze as a natural fit for its timepieces. A similar model in color scheme was released in 2021, the PAM01074 Submersible Bronzo 42mm with a blue dial.

Setting apart from typical watchmaking bronze alloys, Panerai’s bronze boasts a special composition, where the use of pure copper and pure tin promotes the creation of a distinctive patina on the surface. Thanks to this special evolution, this alloy has become a true asset for the Maison, solidifying Panerai’s bronze timepieces as some of the most sought-after.

The aging process of bronze is truly fascinating, as every piece evolves with the owner’s life, acquiring a distinctive appearance: when new, it exhibits a warm, gold-like hue, gradually developing a patina that arises from its interaction with external elements such as air, moisture, heat, and friction. The Luminor Marina Brnzo PAM01678 exhibits all the signature elements that define the Luminor Marina series, along with the recent upgrades applied to the design and technical features.

Bronze is more than just a material for us: it’s a territory of expression. The new Luminor Marina PAM01678 immediately evokes the world of the sea, blending the design of our most iconic timepiece with a material that embodies our maritime heritage. Its evolving patina allows us to tell a story of time and the sea, ultimately reflecting the wearer’s journey” says Alessandro Ficarelli, Chief Marketing and Product Officer of Panerai.

Key elements remain steadfast: from the signature crown-protecting bridge, originally designed to prevent water seepage from entering the case, to the essential luminescent dial with sandwich construction, offering optimal readability in low-light conditions, until the classic rhodium small seconds display at 9 o’clock born to allow Italian Navy commandos to verify the watch functionality with ease.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The PAM01678’s bronze case is paired with a matte dark blue sandwich dial, shifting from a deep blue at the edges to a lighter tone towards the center. This perfectly complements the warm tones of the bronze case and the beige Super-LumiNova® used to fill the numerals and hands, ensuring the watch readability even in low-light conditions. Drawing inspiration from Panerai’s historic models of the 1960s, the dial is intentionally designed without a date window, displaying only the Maison’s name and ‘Luminor Marina’, resulting in a clean, essential aesthetic.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The open sapphire case back provides a captivating view of the new P.980 calibre, a 3-day power reserve automatic movement developed for precise timekeeping. This movement features a traversing balance bridge, enhancing stability against shocks. A stop-second function allows for precise time-setting by halting the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Further demonstrating its commitment to accuracy, the P.980 has undergone rigorous six-position testing to guarantee reliable chronometric performance. The movement’s construction incorporates finishing touches for an essential design, and it operates at a frequency engineered to maintain consistent, accurate timekeeping over extended use. PAM01678 showcases the modernized case design of the new Luminor Marina collection, where the calibre’s sleeker proportions, measuring just 12½ lignes, guarantee a comfortable and ergonomic experience on the wrist, all while preserving the watch’s signature bold identity.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Like the other new Luminor Marina timepieces, the Luminor Marina Bronzo PAM01678 boasts upgraded water resistance up to 50 bar (~500 meters), reinforcing Panerai’s legacy of professional tool watches developed for the demanding needs of the Italian Navy commandos. This evolution is also made possible by the compact architecture of the P.980 movement, which allowed for improved proportions and weight of the watch.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

These advancements, alongside innovations in case construction and pressure resistance, contribute to enhanced water resistance. Water resistance is a domain mastered by the Panerai Laboratorio di Idee, with rigorous testing conducted in water – a practice few brands undertake – at a pressure 25% greater than the guaranteed water resistance value.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The new PAM01678 features the Luminor Marina new streamlined lugs, and it is presented on a blue calf leather strap with beige stitching, a nod to vintage construction techniques that enhance the timepiece’s overall vintage aesthetic. An additional blue rubber strap is also included, offering a sporty, water-friendly alternative.

Available exclusively in Panerai Boutiques and Retail partners, the Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01678 is the new must-have tool watch designed for the assertive, self-assured individual who values a timepiece with both heritage and purpose.

Panerai x Revolution Luminor Marina Carbotech "Destro" PAM01708 Edition

Panerai and Revolution: shaping time together

Panerai celebrates Revolution's 20th Anniversary with the Luminor Marina Destro CarbotechTM PAM01708, a Singapore Exclusive.

The watch represents a tribute to the influential watch magazine and media company that has been a leading voice in the industry since 2005.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This launch honors the decades-long relationship with Revolution's founder, Wei Koh, a long-time admirer and commentator on Panerai. The PAM01708 is Panerai's second homage, following the Luminor Marina 8 Days DLC – 44mm released in 2015.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The concept of a “Destro” watch came from the demand of divers who had to wear the depth gauge and compass on their left hand. As a result, the large-sized Panerai diving watches were designed for the right wrist.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Interestingly, “Destro” means “right-handed” in Italian, but it’s remarkable how many people think it means “left-handed.” With the switch to right-hand wear, the crown guard and lever-locking mechanism were relocated to the left side of the case.

Panerai Ref. 6152/1 with Luminor dial and Angelus 240 8-days movement.

The 1960s saw the introduction of vintage Panerai “Destro” or left-handed watches, such as the Ref. 6152/1.

PAM00026

But it was the Richemont-era management consisting of then-CEO Angelo Bonati and designer Giampiero Bodino that took it upon themselves to launch the stunning PAM00026A in 1998 as a 200-piece limited edition and followed it up with the PAM00026B in 1999 as a 500-piece limited edition

 PAM00026 Re-Run

In 2008, Panerai paid tribute to this same timepiece with the relaunch of the PAM00026K as a 1,000-piece limited edition, which now featured a sandwich-type dial and Super-LumiNova instead of tritium.

Because these watches were designed to be worn on the right hand, wearing them on the left is technically incorrect, and yet it looks so incredibly cool that it’s inspired a multitude of Destro watches over the years from other brands.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The material that really captured our imagination, meanwhile, was Carbotech™, a high-performance composite material exclusive to Panerai and known for its remarkable lightness and resistance to wear.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

It is constructed from thin layers of carbon fiber and a binding agent called PEEK (polyether ether ketone), which is laid up and then heated and compressed.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The process produces a material that is 64% lighter than titanium and 80% lighter than steel, while offering superior resistance to corrosion and physical stress. Panerai’s Carbotech™ case plates are built with over 200 layers stacked together, while the bezel and crown-protecting device are machined at an angle to the layers — meaning that no two watches are visually identical after machining and finishing.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The result is a distinct, matte black finish with a variegated effect that shifts subtly depending on how the light hits it.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

To mark the 10th anniversary of Carbotech™, we decided to craft the case, bezel, crown, crown guard and even the lever from this material — everything except the caseback is made in Carbotech™. A particularly nice touch is that our Revolution logo is engraved on the lever.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Our latest collaboration also builds upon a previous limited edition launched on the occasion of Revolution’s 10th anniversary in 2015, the Luminor Marina 8 Days DLC Special Edition PAM00599.

The dial features beige lume on the indices and hands, paying tribute to our favorite Pre-Vendôme era models. It also draws inspiration from our 10th anniversary model, but this time, crafted using a more complex sandwich construction.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

We love the idea of a vintage-looking dial set against a subtly modern material like Carbotech™. Inside the watch is the Caliber P.9010, an automatic movement with three days of power reserve stored in two spring barrels, wound by a bi-directional oscillating weight.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The result is an exceptional Luminor Marina that expresses the best of modern and vintage Panerai, demonstrating that contemporary materials like carbon fiber can harmoniously co-exist with the old-school aesthetic that made the brand truly special.

Ten years after our first collaboration, we are pleased to introduce a new timepiece to mark Revolution's 20th anniversary, a magazine that has since become a voice of authority in watch culture. By blending heritage with a cutting-edge twist, it captures our design essence through a historic left-handed configuration, inspired by Panerai’s archives, matched for the very first time with a Carbotech™ case.” says Alessandro Ficarelli, Chief Marketing and Product Officer of Panerai
