OMEGA launches the 4th generation of the Planet Ocean. This complete redesign of the collection introduces seven new watches, including three different watch heads, with multiple options regarding bracelets or straps.

Available in three distinctive colours, the 4th generation balances Seamaster heritage with contemporary design, while featuring a flatter and slimmer 42 mm size – the very same as the 2005 original.

This 4th generation presents a new aesthetic structure, with noticeable changes to the case and bracelet architecture, as well as technical updates that ensure the performance and quality are at a premium standard.

AN ICON REIMAGINED

Inspired by Seamaster watches of the past, the Planet Ocean’s dramatic new case structure reveals more angular lines and sharper edges.

As well as being slimmer, these stainless steel watches are also flatter than previous Planet Ocean models, thanks to the flat sapphire crystal on the front, and an overall refinement across the entire case and bezel.

The bezel itself is uni-directional with a ring crafted in ceramic.

Still, however, the Planet Ocean's essential character is not lost. It remains rooted in OMEGA's historic ocean DNA and retains many of the signature components that have made the collection an icon in the world of diving watches.

The new chapter unfolds with the unveiling of seven new Co-Axial Master Chronometer models, including those in the signature orange colour that defines OMEGA's diving history.

POWER AND STRENGTH

Each Planet Ocean is built with a screw-in caseback made from Grade 5 Titanium. This material has helped to refine the dimensions of the watch, while also reducing weight and enhancing strength.

Beyond the engraved Seahorse emblem, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 sits at the heart of each watch. A self-winding movement with 60 hours of power reserve.

BLUE VARIATIONS

A versatile colour for everyday wear, the blue Planet Ocean is available in two versions. Each blue ceramic bezel ring is filled with a white enamel diving scale.

This 42 mm model is crafted with a case in polished-brushed stainless steel. It features a polished blue ceramic bezel ring with a diving scale in white enamel, while the inner ring is made from polished grade 5 titanium.

The black dial is presented with a matte finish, and includes rhodium-plated hands and indexes with white Super-LumiNova. Along with transferred wording in white, there are also four Arabic numerals in white.

 Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912, this Seamaster Planet Ocean is worn on a polished-brushed bracelet in stainless steel, featuring an extendable foldover rack-and-pusher with an extra diver extension.

On the reverse side of the watch, the screw-in caseback is made from polished-brushed grade 5 titanium, and displays OMEGA’s famous seahorse emblem.

VISIBILITY AT ALL HOURS

Each matte black dial features the Planet Ocean’s signature arrowhead hands and bold applied indexes - all filled with Super-LumiNova for sublime readability, even in darkness or at depth. 

STYLE AROUND THE WRIST

The new bracelets reveal a series of flat links, with two brushed rows and one polished row at the centre. Slimmer than before, they are adjustable to six positions and are equipped with OMEGA’s extra diver extension.

Two versions are available in classic black. Along with rhodium-plated Arabic numerals on the dial, their black ceramic bezel rings are filled with a white enamel diving scale.

And a model commemorating the Apollo 8 crew who became the first humans to ever see the far side of the moon, celebrating astronaut Jim Lovell's historic observation during Apollo 8 that "the Moon is essentially grey,".
