HAUTLENCE – SPHERE Series 3 Titanium Edition

HAUTLENCE SPHERE Series 3 'Spherical Jumping Hours' Titanium Edition 2025

Hautlence returns to the spot light with a new variation of its most mesmerizing mechanical sculpture: the Sphere Series 3. Same complication, same kinetic magic — but with a completely reimagined silhouette: more compact, more daring. The rectangular case adopts new, reduced proportions and houses a fully reworked movement in a smaller format.

Architectural, sculptural and utterly hypnotic, the Sphere Series 3 takes Hautlence's aesthetic and technical vision even further. This new interpretation of the iconic piece embodies the brand's ambition: elevating mechanics to the level of kinetic art.

The titanium case, now more compact, reveals clean, assertive lines, as if carved from raw material. Its redesigned format brings a new sense of balance: the visual power remains, but is now focused, contained, almost intimate. On the sides, subtle reliefs echo the rectangular design that has become a Hautlence signature. Water-resistant to 10 ATM, the watch retains its futuristic presence while embracing a contemporary edge.

The sphere, meanwhile, remains faithful to its original vocation: to captivate the eye. Positioned on the left side of the dial, it rotates on three axes, revealing the hours through a ballet that is both precise and hypnotic—orchestrated by four conical gears moving around two crossed axes inclined at 21 degrees. Two polished titanium shells, coated in a striking shade of purple, encase the differential mechanism and unite to form the sphere. Around it, the fully skeletonised dial gives the impression that the sphere is floating in mid-air. Time takes on the quality of a mirage: no longer merely displayed, but experienced.

On the right, the retrograde minute hand interacts with the openworked dial, revealing the heartbeat of the movement. Gears, freewheel and snail cam appear like a miniature stage where each component performs its role. The purple minute hand traces its path along a suspended minute track before snapping back to zero in a controlled glide—a return to order after the dance.

Beneath the dial beats the manual-winding calibre A82, specially adapted to this more compact case. The same ingenuity, the same precision, but condensed into a reduced version that preserves all the magic of the original movement. Designed and assembled in the brand’s workshops, it is powered by a hairspring produced by Precision Engineering AG, Hautlence’s sister company.

Fully skeletonised, the barrel and ratchet reveal the tension of the mainspring, offering an intuitive reading of the 72-hour power reserve. A built-in security mechanism prevents accidental damage during incorrect manipulation like reverse time setting: the watch protects itself, true to the brand’s pragmatic innovation ethos.

With the Sphere Series 3, Hautlence signs a more compact—yet equally captivating—expression of its horological vision: a timepiece where every detail vibrates between architectural rigour and artistic freedom.

HAUTLENCE – HELIX Series 1 Tourbillon Titanium Edition

HAUTLENCE HELIX Series 1 Central Tourbillon Titanium Edition 2025

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

HELIX BY HAUTLENCE
SPIRALING INTO THE FUTURE

There are moments—rare ones—when watchmaking seems to vibrate with electricity. When engineering flirts with philosophy. When design stops mimicking the past and begins bending the future. Enter Helix by Hautlence. An independent timepiece, born in Schaffhausen, sculpted with the boldness of those who have nothing to prove—except their freedom. This is not a watch. It’s a statement. Architecture in motion.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Let’s start with the shape: Hautlence introduces a new rectangular case. Small, sharper. Machined from lightweight titanium, it speaks a language of refined brutalism—uncompromising, assertive, and monumental. A wrist-worn monolith.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

And it’s not only about presence. It’s about performance. Sitting atop this rectangular case, water-resistant to 10 ATM, is a domed sapphire crystal that adds a note of softness — a curvature so pure, so precise, it bends light to its will. Crafting such a crystal is a technical madness, but the reward is worth it: it draws all eyes inward, magnifying the heart of the watch like a lens focused on a revolution: its central cylindrical tourbillon.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

More than a watch, Helix is a vision. A manifesto in motion. The cylindrical tourbillon isn’t just centered; it is the center, the conceptual core. Spiraling like DNA, it becomes a kinetic sculpture, adding a third dimension to reimagine the tourbillon.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Flanking this tourbillon are two retrograde displays, for hours and minutes, that perform their choreography with crisp, deliberate precision.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

At the heart of the Helix Series 1 ticks the D51 automatic calibre. Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house, it features a micro-rotor that allows for balanced, compact proportions without compromising performance. This movement includes 235 components, beats at a frequency of 3 hertz, and offers a 65-hour power reserve.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Since its beginnings, Hautlence has never liked repetition. Born in Neuchâtel, now based in Schaffhausen, the brand has always walked the line between mechanical obsession and raw aesthetic power. The Helix follows this path: it doesn’t just measure time, it redefines it.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This is not a watch for timid collectors. It’s for those who see time not as a circle, but as a spiral—because each moment rises, evolves, and never repeats.

HAUTLENCE – Retrovision '85 Edition

HAUTLENCE RETROVISION '85 Tourbillon 'Transformer' Edition 2025

WHEN WATCHMAKING DIVES INTO
NOSTALGIA

Paying tribute to the unbridled imagination of the 80s, Hautlence is unveiling a fun new creation: the Retrovision ’85, inspired by an iconic design from a well-known Japanese toy manufacturer. More than a simple timepiece, it is an ode to nostalgia, evoking the awe felt by an entire generation who, as children, dreamed of having this legendary transformable robot on their wrist.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Equipped with the self-winding movement from the Vagabonde Tourbillon, the Retrovision ’85 combines a retro-futuristic aesthetic with a watch display comprising a central minute disc around which the three-hour satellites rotate, reaffirming the bold and creative spirit that is Hautlence's signature. With this robot watch, released in a limited run of 8 pieces and unveiled at Watches & Wonders, the brand invites collectors to reconnect with the magic of their memories.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Sometimes, all it takes to reawaken the fondest memories is a simple object. For an entire generation of children growing up in the 1980s, this object was a watch unlike any other. Worn on the wrist, it told the time. But in the imagination, it was so much more: a miniature robot capable of transformation, the hero of endless adventures. This watch, invented by a Japanese toy manufacturer, quickly came to symbolise this era when anything seemed possible.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Today, Hautlence is reviving this spirit by unveiling a creation that is as fun as it is daring: a robot watch inspired by the iconic design of the original, but with a mechanical movement equipped with a flying tourbillon. Named the Retrovision ’85, this model sends the wearer back to the 80s.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This was the era of Saturday morning cartoons where robots battled it out to save the universe. The very early years of home gaming, where the graphics were pixellated but the imagination knew no bounds. Skateboarding was emerging as a global cultural phenomenon, with its own codes and references. An air of freedom permeated the whole era.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Capturing this spirit, the Retrovision ’85 has been designed to resonate with all of these memories, to tempt all who have been able to carry this love of the extraordinary into their adult years. While the Retrovision ’85 takes its inspiration from the past, the excellence which anchors it is wholly contemporary. At the heart of this creation beats the movement from the Vagabonde Tourbillon, a feat of watch engineering which encapsulates the brand's spirit of innovation through a "wandering" time display system, where the discs turn on themselves in a hypnotic dance. A perfect metaphor: the apparent lightness belies a precise and refined complexity.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

In launching the Retrovision ‘85, Hautlence is challenging received codes and celebrating the golden age of the imagination. In doing so, it is affirming that Haute Horology can – and should – be fun, yet without compromising on excellence, an ideology it shares with the models in the Playground collection. It is aimed at those who would spend hours as children dreaming of space exploration and robot protectors. But it also appeals to today's collectors, who know that a watch is much more than a simple measuring instrument: it is a work of art, a memory, an emotion, a bridge between who we were and what we have become.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This creation is not only a feat of technology; it is a return to the foundations, a vibrant tribute to the boundless curiosity and creativity of the 1980s. With the Retrovision ‘85, Hautlence is once again proving that it is possible to reinvent watchmaking whilst retaining its magic.

HAUTLENCE – LINEAR Linear Series 3 'Red Passion' Edition

HAUTLENCE LINEAR Series 3 'Red Passion' Tourbillon Edition 2025

RED PASSION

More than a watch, the Linear Series 3 from Hautlence is a statement, an attitude, a declaration of style. Dressed entirely in red, it embodies a state of mind, a vision of the world where daring is elegance, and every moment is lived with the utmost intensity.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The color of visionaries, passion red symbolizes innovation and, on the Linear Series 3, becomes a sublime way of displaying the time via the linear retrograde jumping hour. Opting for this timepiece is choosing to stand out. Red is not for everyone, only for those who dare!

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Red has always represented life and strength, a power in itself. It is no coincidence that is has become the hallmark of iconic car manufacturers or that it is a recurring motif in the fields of art, architecture and design.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Like the Renaissance artists who used red to imbue their works with depth and emotion, Hautlence has chosen this color as the natural option to emphasize the lines of its Linear Series 3 model.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

On the left of the Linear Series 3's dial, a graduated scale resembling those used on precision measuring instruments indicates the hours using a linkage. This large, very slim linkage recalls the one used in the first movement developed by Hautlence in 2004: the calibre HL. The small pointer on its end indicates the hour on the vertical scale.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Once the 12 numeral is passed, the snail disengages the probe to release the accumulated energy. The linkage then jumps and returns to the 1 numeral. In addition to the linear retrograde jumping hour, the Linear Series 3 is equipped with a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, whose balletic movement can be admired behind its black skeletonised bridge.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The steel case of the Linear Series 3 guarantees water resistance to 10 ATM and exceptional durability. On the sides, reliefs bring volume and dynamism to the case, the unique shape of which is part of the Hautlence signature. The notched crown features a red rubber band that echoes the strap.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

As always at Hautlence, the dial is constructed on several levels. An additional tinted sapphire dial featuring the minute numerals sits on top of the base dial with a vertical satin finish. The main dial is partially open to allow parts of the movement to be seen.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

One component visible through the opening is the minute cam. This is integral with the minute hand, which rotates once per hour and lifts the minute sector as the hour elapses. After 60 minutes, the minute sector falls back, driving the hour star including the hour cam.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The calibre D50 self-winding movement is the motor that drives the Linear Series 3. It has been entirely developed, designed, and produced in-house.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Equipped with a module created in collaboration with Agenhor, it comprises 239 components, oscillates at a frequency of 3 Hertz and offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The finely chased oscillating weight recalls the brand's famous Möbius movement.

A veritable work of art, the Linear Series 3 is the perfect companion for those who experience each second with passion.

HAUTLENCE – SPHERE Series 2 Edition

HAUTLENCE SPHERE Series 2 Spherical Jumping Hour Edition 2024

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Exactly one year after unveiling its groundbreaking timepiece with the world’s only spherical jumping hours display, HAUTLENCE is revisiting the award-winning timepiece with a bold monochromatic look. Introducing the Sphere Series 2, a limited edition of 28 pieces that’s bound to once again captivate watch-lovers in the most multi-dimensional way.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Challenging the notion of what a wristwatch can be and how we perceive the passage of time has been HAUTLENCE’s calling since the brand’s foundation in 2004. At once an elaborate demonstration of the art and science of watchmaking and as well as a wearable, mechanical work of contemporary art, the Sphere is the epitome of this new-school approach to haute horlogerie. A truly singular creation, the Sphere Series 1 was crowned with the Innovation Prize at the 2023 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), a testament to its innovative uniqueness. And now, the second series of the singular Sphere is being unveiled in a dark, monochromatic execution.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Devoid of any colors, the Sphere Series 2 affirms the outstanding form and function of HAUTLENCE’s mechanical masterpiece in shades of grey and black. Split into two halves to perfectly distinguish the hours and minutes indications, the left portion of the open dial is dedicated to the jumping spherical hours display. Seemingly floating under a sapphire crystal with a slight dome to accommodate it, the sphere is finished in a polished deep anthracite tone.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Each of the twelve hours is engraved onto the sphere’s plates, then willed with white Super-LumiNova® for maximum readability. At the end of every hour, the sphere rotates on itself in three axes to reveal the next time. A highly animated and precisely orchestrated movement, the sphere spins using four conical gears, which evolve around two crossed axes inclined at 21 degrees. These unusual gears are partially visible through the openings between the two shells that make up the sphere.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

One of HAUTLENCE’s signature complications takes on a dramatic setting in the Sphere Series 2. Opposite the spherical display and occupying the right side of the dial, the retrograde minute hand moves along a 180° arc track crafted in sapphire crystal with a black outline, surrounding an opening on the dial. The large aperture reveals the gear train that slows the movement of the minute hand when it returns to zero, regulating its speed to limit shocks. Beneath it, the freewheel and the snail cam, allowing the triggering of the jumping hour, can also be observed. The minute track’s white applied numerals are crafted in Globolight®, a ceramic-based material charged with Super-LumiNova® that glows with a blue emission.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This mechanical spectacle of time and motion is framed in HAUTLENCE’s signature TV-shaped case. For the Sphere Series 2, the steel case is given an anthracite PVD finish that perfectly complements the grained grey dial and its various black elements. With a decidedly sporty look and feel, the case is fitted on a black rubber strap and features a notched crown with a matching black rubber ribbon for a better grip. Intended to be worn in any situation, the Sphere Series 2 is water-resistant to 10 ATM.

Click , to see the large size. BIG FOTO

All this otherworldly horological creativity is made possible by the purpose-built movement. Developed and manufactured in-house, the hand-wound A80 caliber beating driving the Sphere Series 2 model has been designed with optimal performance and visual harmony in mind, with contemporary decoration throughout. It is equipped with an in-house hairspring, produced by Precision Engineering AG, the sister company of HAUTLENCE. Entirely skeletonized, the drum and the ratchet reveal the mainspring of the barrel, offering a visual indication of the 72-hour power reserve. The A80 caliber is equipped with a safety device to prevent incorrect manipulation like reverse time setting, which would otherwise harm the movement’s unique pair of functions.

The Sphere Series 2 is being made in a limited edition of 28 pieces, available to order from authorized HAUTLENCE retailers around the globe.
