We recall the launch of the Radar and Red Radar, which reinvented time-telling via rotating discs evoking the sweep of an air traffic control radar screen. Then came the Altimeter, which integrated the markings of a barometric altimeter, and the HUD, inspired by the Head-Up Display technology found in modern fighter jets.
