Its geometric cushion-shaped case, low profile, and shortened lugs draw inspiration from early 20th-century military pocket and trench watches, while presenting a distinctly contemporary tool watch design.

Inspired by early 20th-century trench watches, the Montres à Guichet design of the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour brings a historic format into sharp, modern focus. Hours and minutes are displayed through vertical apertures, delivering exceptional clarity, while the central sweeping seconds hand over the Wayfinder logo in full super-luminova (green emission) evokes a traditional compass point, reinforcing Bremont’s enduring commitment to exploration and adventure. Complimenting the contemporary Terra Nova case, two strap variants are available: a Terra Nova bracelet crafted from polished and brushed 904l  steel with black DLC finish and deployment clasp; and a black leather bund strap, providing exceptional comfort and protection to the wearer.

The introduction of a bund strap to the Terra Nova field watch line continues the collection’s nod to early 20th century watch design as they were first used by pilots during WWII to protect their wrists from extreme temperatures.

First introduced at Watches & Wonders 2025, the model unites two legendary complications in one supremely robust, perfectly engineered timepiece. Crafted from lightweight grade 2 titanium and featuring the Altitude collection’s signature three-piece Trip-Tick case construction, the model is built for those who demand refinement, resilience and practicality.

Perpetual performance

The Altitude Perpetual Calendar seamlessly integrates a GMT function without compromising the Altitude Collection’s aviation-inspired sportiness, everyday usability, and visual clarity. The openworked dial displays complex information with exceptional legibility, while decorative arms in Air Force Blue lend structural support to the subdials — preserving both the durability and distinctive design language of the Altitude range.

At 12 o’clock, a domed globe disc – echoing that previously seen in 2024’s Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon – provides the second time-zone indication: as the globe turns, an arrow indicates the home time against a 24-hour index that’s divided into day and night sections.

Adjusting this is straightforward: a mono-pusher integrated into the crown allows the wearer to advance the arrow in one-hour increments. A corrector at 2 o’clock allows you to set the date, whilst a corrector positioned at 4 o’clock allows you to set the leap year and month.

At 9 o’clock, running seconds is displayed with a lume-tipped two-blade ‘propeller’ hand, on a sector-style subdial. The perpetual calendar’s indications – date, month and position in the leap year cycle – are presented on the other two subdials, at 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock respectively. At 6 o’clock, a pointer indicates the date on a radial index.

At the 3 o’clock position, a beautifully intuitive month/year indication uses a four-blade propeller-style hand, with three white-tipped blades and one red-tipped blade. The subdial is divided into four sectors, each representing a year in the leap cycle, while the first sector also includes markings for the 12 months.

The red-tipped blade denotes the current position in the four-year cycle, while the month is shown by whichever of the four blades is passing through the first sector at any given time. The propeller’s movement is imperceptible, advancing in 172 micro-jumps across the four-year cycle – a shift of just under 2.1 degrees every eight day.

Skeletonised elegance

Bremont’s first Perpetual Calendar GMT Mono-pusher demanded the best in Swiss engineering and British craft. The complication module was created exclusively for Bremont by Agenhor in Geneva, masters of ingenious mechanics.

The Perpetual Calendar GMT Monopusher complication truly showcases Agenhor’s mastery and through stripping back the solid dial of the original Perpetual model, the skeletonised edition showcases the original architecture and elegant simplicity of the module.

The exquisite ‘Côtes de Genève’ finish is visible across the module’s bridges, and a beautifully engraved Wayfinder logo features on the lever of the mono-pusher.

The base calibre is a manually wound movement - the AMT6900, produced within Sellita’s top-tier, custom-build AMT (Atelier Manufacture Technique) programme. The combined movement measures just 6.8mm — keeping the case a lean 12.65mm.

Its 500-metre water resistance, titanium container and helium escape valve embody the robust and reliable nature of the Supermarine collection.

The highly technical 43mm case is designed in mono-block ceramic. From a basis of ceramic powder, the loose material is placed into a very precisely shaped mould. This negative image of the watch case is 23% bigger than the final product.

Following a high-pressure sintering process at a temperature of 1,450°C that would melt most metals, the size of the case shrinks by 23%. Not only do the ceramic watch cases reach their final size after sintering, but they also show their true colours after the process.

Ensuring the full ceramic cases of the Supermarine’s achieved the desired shade, is also a matter of precise calculations because exceeding certain temperatures will lead to colour pigment burning and unwanted changes.

Finally, the tactical black full ceramic case is subjected to a sand-blasting process, used to give the watch case a matte finish, ensuring that a Bremont ceramic tool watch meets the needs of even our most adventurous and demanding real-world explorer.

The mono-block ceramic case, ceramic bezel insert and knurled detail of the titanium PVD treated bezel provide a bold and striking contrast against the crisp white wave effect dial.

Trapezoid indexes flow from the bezel onto the dial, forming a naval inspired crosshair which draws the eye to the centre of dial which features applied indexes and black gold-plated hour, minute and second hands, all filled with next generation Super-LumiNova® (blue emission) for use in low-light conditions due to its high visibility in the deepest depths, the design epitomises durability and clarity.
