Kallinich Claeys – EINSER Voyager Gold Edition
Wo Tradition auf Innovation trifft

The „Voyager“ is proudly developed and finished entirely in-house. With the influences of Lee Yuen-Rapati (@onehourwatch) we created our evolved dial with more depth and intricate layers. Every detail of this timepiece reflects our commitment to high-end craftsmanship.

A hand engraved dial made by master engraver Helmut Wagner. Galvanised in a black colour, the engraving offers a spectacular contrast between the high gloss engraving and matt frosting on the top surface. Applied indices finished to the same high standard as our hands are placed on top of a circular grained outside ring.

The three-dimensional teardrop hands, with their complex chamfers on both the inside and outside, add even more depth and sophistication to the piece.

A refined white gold case design with our new crown and stepped lugs which seamlessly flow into the indented middle section, houses one of our main eye-catchers, the power reserve mechanism.

Fully visible not just from the back of the watch but also through the sapphire crystal window on the side of the case, a world-first feature.

Winding the watch allows you to witness the power reserve’s inner workings in action, marrying functionality with visual spectacle in a way that is both innovative and mesmerizing. Its movement the KC001.1, is a showcase of mechanical artistry.

Our movement is a true display of craftsmanship. From the ratchet to the gears and levers, numerous components have received handmade chamfers. One of the main eye-catchers, however, is the meticulous chamfering done on our bridges. Each chamfer is cut and polished entirely by hand, with 19 sharp inner angles - a remarkable feat of skill and dedication.

Shown here is the seconds bridge transferring its rotation from the 4th wheel to the central seconds wheel, which is mounted on a 7mm long and 0,2mm thick arbor. These hand polished chamfers, paired with the rough sandblasted surfaces, create a stunning contrast, highlighting both the technicality and aesthetic elegance of the parts.

A hallmark of traditional Glashütte watches is the balance cock with its intricate regulating elements. Instead of opting for a classic swan neck regulating system, we chose to give it a modern twist by designing a spring that gracefully follows the curves of the balance cock.

The blued screws are meticulously heat-blued one at a time and carefully matched to a color sample by eye, ensuring a blue tone we call “Kornblumenblau”.

Inspired by the elegant air vents on the side of a Mercedes 300 SL, our signature “Shark Gill” hand engraving peeks out from beneath the fine regulating components, seamlessly blending Glashütte traditions with contemporary interpretations.

Our movements features a balance wheel which swings at a frequency of 18.000 BPH. With a simple pull from the crown our hacking seconds mechanism gently swings against the balance wheel, bringing it to a halt. Allowing for precise time setting.

The driving mechanism behind our innovative power reserve indication consists of a set of gears located underneath the revealing differential bridge. At the center of this bridge lies the differential gear, which receives two inputs and produces a single output situated on the underside of the mainplate.

On one side, the differential gear receives input from the ratchet wheel atop the mainspring barrel, turning in one direction and causing the power reserve indicator to rise into the white area visible on the side of the watch.

Vice versa, on the other side, the differential gear engages with the mainspring barrel, rotating slowly in the opposite direction of the ratchet wheel. This interaction results in the power reserve indicator gradually moving into the red area of the display.

Keeping up with Glashütte traditions, 18kt gold chatons are used to house the rubies or, in our case, the white transparent sapphires. Aligning with our design philosophy, we opted for a more modern aesthetic by transitioning from traditional screwed-in gold chatons to a sleeker press fit chaton while retaining two screwed-in chatons as a tribute to our heritage.

Another highlight of our timepiece is the floating crown wheel. Going against Glashütte traditions of the big unrevealing ¾ bridge, the crown wheel is showcased through a cutout in the main bridge and secured with a mirror-polished mushroom pin, giving the appearance of a free-floating wheel.

The wheel itself features a polished countersink on the inside, individually polished chamfered teeth, and circular graining on the top, all contributing to its visual appeal.

A ball bearing within the wheel ensures smooth winding and reduces friction, enhancing the longevity of the watch. Partially hidden beneath the main bridge is a black-polished ratchet shaped like a small pigeon.

Steel black-polished bushings are pressed in to secure the screws, which, combined with the polished gold chatons, create a captivating interplay of light when the watch is handled.

Our movement features no less than six gears total, each with individual chamfering on the teeth. Included are five steel gears and the mainspring barrel. As you wind the watch, all of these components come to life, showcasing their meticulous craftsmanship.

The open-worked bridges crafted from German silver create a certain feeling of depth. Delicate sandblasted surfaces provide the perfect contrast to the 18kt gold chatons and high-polished chamfers, featuring 20 meticulously hand-cut sharp inner angles, a hallmark of dedication to our craft.

Furthermore, a hand-engraved balance cock, featuring our signature "Shark Gill" engraving, adds a distinct special touch.
