Fangio’s Formula 1 career began in 1950, during the very first season of the World Championship.

 In just eight years, he achieved what few thought possible: five World Championship titles (1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957), racing with four different teams — Alfa Romeo, Mercedes -Benz, Ferrari, and Maserati.

Out of only 52 starts, he claimed 24 victories, 35 podiums, 29 pole positions, and 23 fastest laps, securing one of the highest winning percentages in history.
