A passion dedicated to the art of watchmaking
Few watchmaker-designers can claim such complete expertise. A third-generation watchmaker, David Candaux has honed his craft over more than 30 years, enriched by training in restoration, design and mechanical engineering. This journey enables him to approach every facet of his craft with a broad and in-depth perspective.

Each creation is an exultant expression of his ideas, brought to life with boundless energy. He relishes every step of the process, thriving in the expression of his singularity. Mastering every stage, from design to assembly, he crafts each timepiece in his atelier in Le Solliat. This ambition is fully realized with the DC6 Titanium, infused with a distinct character and complete creative freedom.
A design inspired by 18th-century watchmaking
The DC6 Titanium draws inspiration from the rich historical heritage and enchanting nature of the Vallée de Joux. The guilloché pattern, a traditional ornamental engraving technique, has a long history in watchmaking, particularly on pocket watch cases. It was used as early as the 18th century to improve grip on watches. David Candaux reinterprets this technique, infusing it with a contemporary vision: transforming a wristwatch dial into a tactile and sensory experience, offering the collectors a unique and intimate interaction with their timepiece.

The spirit of navigational instruments
The DC6 Titanium elegantly blends symmetry and asymmetry, an alchemy enhanced by the “magic crown” at 6 o'clock. This retractable, patented innovation, made up of 31 components, ensures perfect handling for setting and winding the movement.

In-house calibre: a cascade architecture revealing exceptional finishes
The result of several years of research and development, the calibre of the DC6 Titanium reflects David Candaux’s watchmaking expertise. Developed in-house, it incorporates key elements of the brand, starting with its flying tourbillon, inclined at 30° with a 60-second revolution. This unique mechanism, in which the small seconds is directly integrated, processes a greater number of positions in less time, ensuring enhanced chronometric precision by accounting for the positions assumed by the wristwatch.

Exclusivity of the bear: a symbol of strength and mastery
The bear, subtly yet significantly featured on the crown and movement, is more than just a symbol. It echoes the affectionate nickname given to David Candaux. Its inspiration lies in the Vallée de Joux and the name of Le Solliat village, recalling the watering holes where bears came to drink. This symbol embodies strength, stability and resilience, core values for consistency and mastery in the art of watchmaking.

Every detail that forms the DC6 Titanium embodies this commitment to perseverance and precision. Its “Pointes du Risoux” guilloché pattern, unique case design with two sapphire domes, in-house movement, all protected by five patents, reflect the soul of the brand, celebrating nature, craftsmanship and horological heritage.
