Eberhard & Co. has created collector’s timepiece for Dallara, celebrating the renowned company specialized in engineering design, development, and production of race cars, prototypes, and high-performance road vehicles.

This tribute takes shape in the contemporary reinterpretation of the historic Contograf model: an eye-catching chronograph featuring a black dial customized with yellow counters — the iconic color of Dallara—and enriched by its distinctive logo.

Inspired by the original 1960s Contograf, this mechanical automatic chronograph was celebrated in its time for its innovative features. The original model was equipped with a chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock, including a telephone timing indicator (marking the connection charge that used to activate every three minutes), and a large date display at 6 o’clock with quick-set functionality—a revolutionary detail for its era. The Contograf reissue preserves the innovative spirit of the original and includes unique elements, such as an automotive-inspired tachymeter scale on the rehaut, featuring a red 50 km/h average speed marker.

The watch is limited to just 50 pieces and is exclusively available to Dallara people and owners of the Dallara Stradale, the “dream come true” of Engineer Giampaolo Dallara, founder and current President of the company. This dream materialized in 2017 as a high-performance supercar designed to deliver a race-like driving experience, thanks to its lightweight 855 kg frame and extreme aerodynamics, while remaining fully road-legal.

The two companies have partnered on numerous occasions and during historic motorsport events such as “La Leggenda di Bassano – Trofeo Giannino Marzotto,” where rally champion and Eberhard & Co. Ambassador Miki Biasion uses to steer the event behind the wheel of the Dallara Stradale.

    Black personalised with counters and Dallara logo in yellow, the colour of the historic automotive company.
    Chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock with a time indication for the telephone call signal, which in the 1960s occurred every 3 minutes.
    Continuous small seconds at 9 o’clock.
    Tachymeter scale based on 1000 km/h, with the average speed of 50 km/h marked in red.
    Date window at 6 o’clock, with a distinctive trapezoidal shape, surrounded by an applied border and red date numbers, features that characterized the 1960s model.
    Hands: "dauphine" style hour and minute hands, skeletonized, with luminescence; central red chronograph seconds hand; leaf-shaped hands for the counters.
