The Hazemann & Monnin School Watch pays tribute to the founding piece that sealed the meeting between itstwo creators. Inspired by the school watch made during their studies, it marks the origin of the Hazemann & Monnin workshop.

This timepiece reinterprets that first creation with a movement entirely designed, manufactured, and decorated in-house: the HM01 caliber.

A true horological challenge for a first commercial piece, the HM01 caliber was developed from scratch, without relying on any existing base. It embodies the founders’ desire to assert complete technical and aesthetic independence.

This movement features two rare complications: the passing strike and the instantaneous jumping hour. Bothare perfectly synchronized. At every full hour, the watch elegantly chimes the passing of time, in harmony with the immediate jump of the hour hand, a mechanical choreography that is both precise and poetic.

Measuring 39.5 mm in diameter, the case blends heritage and modernity, with balanced proportions that reflect the vision of authentic, artisanal watchmaking.

The Montre École is more than a tribute. It follows in the tradition of 20th-century horological school watches, symbols of transmission, rigor, and shared passion.
