Czapek & Cie. – FAUBOURG DE CRACOVIE “Crossroads” Victory Green Chronograph Edition

Czapek & Cie.FAUBOURG DE CRACOVIE “Crossroads” Victory Green Chronograph Edition 2026

FAUBOURG DE CRACOVIE “CROSSROADS” VICTORY GREEN
CHRONOGRAPH: A CONQUERING COLOR

Czapek & Cie enriches its collections with the Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph. This short-time measuring instrument, produced in steel in a limited edition of 18 pieces, boasts a dial combining a clever guilloché pattern with an "English green" whose elegance underlines its uninhibited sportiness. Powered by the SXH3 integrated high-frequency automatic chronograph caliber, it embodies the entire philosophy of the maison: the intelligent interweaving of watchmaking arts with the spirit of an era resolutely focused on a tireless race toward modernity and innovation.

In fact, this chronograph, with its rare elegance and sporty accents, is produced in 316L surgical steel. Its 41.5 mm diameter case is both timeless and particularly well-suited to this active complication, appealing to lovers of "versatile sportiness" and adaptable to literally any situation — “from marathon to evening wear,” as Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek & Cie, likes to say. To achieve this, the 5-atmosphere water-resistant case is lightened by the presence of lugs and flanks refined by delicately sandblasted recesses, and by the integration of the two chronograph pushers into the extension of the crown guard.

For this urban collection with a sporty-chic accent, the choice was made to place the tachymeter scale on the periphery of the dial, where the flange is usually located. Once the timing has been started, this discreet scale allows the average speed over a distance of one kilometer to be read. Very useful at the dawn of the twentieth century, it enabled the pilots of the first automobiles and aircraft to determine the speed of their "strange machines," which were not yet equipped with modern instrument panels.

Today, despite the widespread use of electronic aids, this display remains one of the most appreciated by enthusiasts. Its presence required the diameter of the dial on which the guilloché is applied to be reduced. However, to preserve its harmonious proportions, the 30-minute and 12-hour counters have been reworked. Recessed in relation to the surface, their periphery has been diamond-polished and their centers have been given a discreet circular azurage treatment.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

These treatments, which are complex to execute—especially on a guilloché dial — provide both a strong presence and excellent legibility. Also present at 6 o'clock is the very sober small seconds indicator, which blends into the decor, as does the date aperture featuring a semi-instantaneous jumping date.

A “Signature” Dial

The Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph dial is once again engineered by one of the company's historic dialmakers and partners: Metalem. As with the last two versions of this chronograph, a reinterpretation of the “Double Soleil” guilloché created for the Quai des Bergues 40.5 mm models has been favored here. For the Faubourg de Cracovie collection, however, the motif is straighter and more deeply engraved to evoke the “profile” of a sports car tire.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This decoration is also a subliminal allusion to Czapek's position at the crossroads of tradition and modernity. This guilloché, with its “Victory Green” tint obtained by PVD treatment, allows the contemporary design to evolve according to different angles of observation, helping to enhance legibility by reducing incident light reflections.

An Integrated Reference Caliber

The Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph is powered by an integrated high-frequency (5 Hz) self-winding chronograph caliber. This movement, bearing the reference SXH3, was developed in 2018 by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier and adapted to https://www.czapek.com/shop/fdc-crossroads-victory-green-8160's specific requirements. The fruit of more than six years of research and development, it incorporates the very best technical solutions for both the movement and the chronograph functions.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback, the movement is 30 mm in diameter (13 ¼ lines) and 6.95 mm thick. This ensures that the chronograph maintains a strong yet relatively contained presence on the wrist. In addition, the plate and bridges—sandblasted, anthracite-treated, and widely openworked—feature handbeveled finishes designed to emphasize their profile.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight is widely skeletonized and features a bi-directional winding system ensuring nearly 65 hours of power reserve. Moreover, the skeletonization of the oscillating weight reveals various components such as the circular-grained wheels, polished flat screws, the polished column wheel, and the highfrequency regulating unit.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The latter features a variable-inertia balance (with 4 gold adjusting screws) that oscillates at a rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz). It uses a classic flat balance-spring made of a stable metal alloy with an unlimited service life. Compared to the vast majority of today's mechanical movements, this high speed ensures 1/10th of a second timekeeping accuracy, better chronometric performance in action, and greater resistance to shocks. This chronograph proudly carries COSC chronometer certification.

Finally, to offer owners of these 18 pieces an exceptional experience, a vertical clutch has been integrated into the mechanism. This prevents the hand from "jumping" at the start of a measurement and allows the user to leave the central chronograph hand running permanently without affecting timekeeping accuracy. It also features efficient linear hammers which ensure the perfect return of the chronograph hands to zero.

The Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph can be worn on a hand-sewn calfskin or Alcantara strap with a deploying buckle. Priced at CHF 32,000 (exclusive of tax), it will be available at official Czapek retailers worldwide, at the Czapek & Cie boutique in Geneva, and at www.czapek.com.

About Czapek & Cie

François Czapek was a Czech-born Polish watchmaker who fled to Geneva in 1832 after fighting in the Polish uprising. He immediately started his own atelier and in 1839 entered into a partnership with Antoine Norbert de Patek, introducing him to the world of watchmaking. In 1845, at the end of their partnership, he created Czapek & Cie and achieved considerable success. He became the official watchmaker of Napoleon III and opened, what was most likely the first watchmaking boutique on the Place Vendome in Paris

He wrote a book about watchmaking, but unfortunately, he died before publishing a second one. Czapek & Cie has been revived in 2015 with an exceptional collection, whose leading model won the Public Prize in the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie in Geneva in November 2016. This collection takes its inspiration from an 1850’s Czapek time piece. It features a beautiful enamel dial and a 7-day proprietary movement perfectly combining craftsmanship with design and exclusivity with rarity. The Company second collection, a suspended Tourbillon with a second time-zone, was launched one year later in 2017, while the first Czapek chronograph Faubourg de Cracovie was unveiled at Baselworld 2018. The company is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

CHOPARD – Mille Miglia Zagato Lab One Concept Tourbillon Edition

CHOPARDMille Miglia Zagato Lab One Concept Tourbillon 42mm Anthracite Ceramicised Titanium Edition2026

Chopard showcases its watchmaking expertise and sense of innovation with a superlight concept watch developed in collaboration with the Italian automotive Atelier

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

  • The new Zagato Lab One Concept timepiece in ceramicised titanium unites Chopard's passion for automobiles with the spirit of innovation and craftsmanship cultivated by its Manufacture in Fleurier for 30 years.

  • Weighing in at just 43.20 grams including the strap (36.5 grams without), it is the lightest watch ever created by Chopard in titanium.

  • With its Tubular construction, this third collaboration between the Maison and the Zagato Design Studio draws cues from typical concept car characteristics.

  • Thanks to the expertise of the Manufacture's artisans, the exceptional L.U.C 04.04-L movement powering this 19-piece limited edition features chronometer precision and unique finishes, all executed in titanium.

An unprecedented design born from the creative encounter between Chopard and Zagato

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The new creative collaboration between Karl-Friedrich Scheufele (Chopard Co-President), the Chopard design team, Andrea Michele Zagato (Zagato President) and Norihiko Harada (Zagato Chief Designer) combines iconic codes from both Maisons to introduce a true concept watch showcasing the watchmaking prowess of the Manufacture's workshops founded in Fleurier in 1996 with the avant-garde spirit of the Italian coachbuilder.

Much as a concept car represents innovation in the automotive world, Chopard introduced its first concept watch in 2020 with the Mille Miglia Lab One model, offering enhanced performance and a futuristic aesthetic influenced by racing cars. Today, the Zagato Lab One Concept model is a horological tribute to the automotive designer.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

It magnifies the Tubular architecture characteristic of the car chassis developed by the famous bodywork specialist. The movement is thus supported by a framework of tubes: a principle used in racing cars to optimise rigidity and reduce weight. This design distributes mechanical stress in the event of impacts and improves structural safety. It is a first for Chopard, which has transposed these technologies from motorsport to the field of watchmaking. Instead of lugs, the tubular open loops ensure that the watch sits perfectly on the wrist.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

They feature a pivoting function whose amplitude is controlled by an adjustment system (approximately 45 degrees on each side). The crown on the side of the case is derived from automotive differential gears and personalised with an engraved steering wheel that has become emblematic of Chopard's Classic Racing codes.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The time display is the result of an aesthetic quest combining contemporary style and legibility: the movement mainplate, which serves as the dial, is adorned with Zagato's unmistakable recurrent “Z” motif, featuring chamfers enhanced by a rhodium-plated finish. The likewise rhodium-plated Chopard and Zagato logos are displayed in positive relief.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The watch face is topped by a ‘glass box’ sapphire crystal fitted flush with the caseband, accentuating the dial’s legibility.

For the sake of symmetry, the caseback adopts a similar principle to extend the caseband while offering a full view of the movement and highlighting every mechanical detail.

Ceramicised titanium:
properties tried and tested in automotive construction

The 42 mm diameter case along with the movement bridges and mainplate are made from ceramicised titanium.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This ultra-resistant metal is obtained by a process of oxidising titanium through electro-plasma technology: a treatment endowing it with a hardness of 1000 Vickers as well as shock and scratch resistance comparable to that of ceramic.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Its lightness enables the workshops to offer this timepiece weighing just 43.20 grams – including the strap.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

A material developed for use in aerospace and automobile construction, ceramicised titanium also features an anthracite grey colour that does not fade over time – a welcome feature in a watch designed for the most extreme conditions.

L.U.C Calibre 04.04-L:
a watchmaking engine that is both light and performant

While the aesthetics of the timepiece evoke the sleek lines of Zagato iconic cars, its horological “engine” reflects the same quest for performance, most notably through the use of ceramicised titanium.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Like the case, the bridges and mainplate of the calibre are crafted from this cuttingedge material, whose lightness and resistance reinforce the timepiece’s technical identity.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

From the very first discussions about this project, one thing was certain: this model would incorporate an evolution of Chopard Manufacture's Engine One Tourbillon calibre, introduced in 2010 and representing a true aesthetic hybrid between automotive mechanics and Haute Horlogerie

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This new mechanical “speed machine” retains the distinctive fuel gauge of its predecessor, displaying the power reserve and accentuating the analogy between a dashboard and the watch dial.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

L.U.C Calibre 04.04-L is nonetheless distinguished by its round shape, breaking with the vertical and horizontal configurations of its predecessors (including the 2010 L.U.C Engine One timepiece with its L.U.C Calibre 04.01-L). Previously crafted in nickel silver, the bridges and baseplate of this new movement are now made of ceramicised titanium.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Drawing on from solutions tried and tested by Chopard Manufacture, the calibre incorporates a shock-absorbing system based on silent blocks and specially redesigned for this model.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Just as in a car engine, these elastomer elements dampen vibrations and absorb impacts. Four lever arms inserted into the caseband ensure optimal stability and increased mechanical protection for the calibre.

At the heart of the movement, a 60-second tourbillon topped by a small seconds dial is combined with a Variner® balance and a hairspring with a Phillips terminal curve, all housed in an aluminium carriage contributing to the Zagato Lab One Concept model’s exceptional lightness.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This meticulous pursuit of perfectly homogeneous materials has one ultimate goal: to reduce weight, echoing the quest for lightness in the world of motor racing.

Chopard and the passion for motorsport

A passion for mechanics and performance are the foundational ties binding Chopard to the world of motor racing, particularly through the Mille Miglia collection. Since 1988, the Maison has served as official partner to the eponymous Italian race.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

It was on the route of this legendary rally that Karl-Friedrich Scheufele – himself a classic-car enthusiast and collector – met Andrea Michele Zagato, President of the famous Italian coachbuilding company that bears his name, and whose bodywork expertise is widely represented among the cars competing in the event.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

As a result of this shared passion, Chopard and Zagato have already signed two creative partnerships: the first in 2013 with the Mille Miglia Zagato Chronograph timepiece; followed in 2019 by the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph Zagato 100th Anniversary Edition commemorating the coachbuilder’s founding date. This exclusive 19-piece third limited edition again references the history of the prestigious Italian firm and specifically its birth on 19 April 1919.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The third opus of our collaboration with Zagato represents the shared values of our family businesses: bold design in the service of technical performance, a perpetual quest for precision and a passion for motor racing”, notes Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.

Zagato, an identity forged over more than 100 years of car manufacturing

Zagato, a family business founded in Milan, has embodied the art of exceptional coachbuilding since its inception. Established by Ugo Zagato in 1919, the Atelier pioneered the application of aeronautical techniques to racing cars, combining lightweight aluminium bodies with tubular chassis. This approach unlocked streamlined forms optimised for aerodynamics, giving rise to timeless and highly collectible designs.

Zagato’s design philosophy is rooted in function, where every curve serves both beauty and performance. Its bold, handcrafted, and fully bespoke creations have shaped the Atelier’s distinctive identity, enhancing legendary models with disruptive lines and refined finishes.

PIAGET – POLO 79 Two-Tone Edition

PIAGET POLO 79 Two-Tone White and Yellow Gold 38 mm Edition 2026

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Piaget unveils a new addition combining yellow and white gold in a striking interpretation which honors both the original 1979 design, spirit, sophistication and the Maison’s uncompromising commitment to precious metal excellence. Because Piaget only measures time in gold.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

For Piaget, gold is and has always been a source of creativity. In 1969, the Maison unveiled the 21st Century Collection, a series of avant-garde gold jewellery watches - between cuff watches and Swinging Sautoirs - a perfect marriage of its history in watchmaking and High Jewellery.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Gold has always been central to Piaget: melted in-house at its Geneva foundry, it became a canvas for both watches and jewellery creations.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The 1970s saw the arrival of elegant, steel sports watches, but there was nothing like the Piaget Polo — a sports elegant watch, fully casted in gold.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

A passionate equestrian, Yves Piaget fused his love of polo and the high life into a watch that came to define the glamour of the 1980s, worn as naturally at Palm Beach polo clubs, as at Chez Regine in New York. “A bracelet watch and a watch bracelet” as he used to say.

A legacy reimagined

In 2024, 45 years after its debut, the original Piaget Polo was reborn as the Piaget Polo 79 for the 150th anniversary of the Maison.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Awarded Iconic Watch” at the GPHG in 2024, the renaissance began with the icon’s return in radiant yellow gold, followed in 2025 by the refined white gold iteration that offers enhanced versatility.

Now in 2026, Piaget introduces the “Two-Tone”– a harmonious marriage of precious metals which recalls one of the Piaget Polo’s original 1979 configurations, designed for connoisseurs who demand distinction and wearability.

The new Polo 79 “Two-Tone” represents more than just a simple combination of metals; it embodies Piaget’s philosophy that “time should only be measured in gold”

This philosophy, deeply rooted in its DNA since 1957, continues to drive creativity while respecting the timeless codes which make the Piaget Polo an icon.

True to Piaget’s signature Extraleganza style, the Piaget Polo 79 Two-Tone showcases its mastery of gold craftsmanship.

The brushed white gold case and integrated bracelet are dramatically punctuated by the gadroons in polished yellow gold. This careful interplay of metals creates visual depth and texture while maintaining the Piaget Polo’s signature style.

The solid gold dial seamlessly integrates the same philosophy, with brushed yellow gold hands offering a final touch of refinement.

Ultra-thin mastery

Within the Piaget Polo 79 Two-Tone beats the caliber 1200P1, Piaget’s ultra-thin micro-rotor mechanical movement measuring just 2.35mm in thickness.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This technical achievement ensures the watch maintains the silky, elegant profile on the wrist that has become synonymous with Piaget’s approach to luxury sports elegance. The movement is just the latest evolution in Piaget’s celebrated legacy of ultra-thin watchmaking—an expertise that has distinguished its manufacture for generations.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Combined with the 38mm case and fully integrated bracelet design, the result is an exceptionally comfortable watch that adapts gracefully to a variety of wrist sizes and occasions.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

This thoughtful execution demonstrates how Piaget has consistently created watches that capture the essence of their era while maintaining their unmistakable character.

A return to origins

The Piaget Polo 79 Two-Tone represents a pure expression of the original Piaget Polo design, thoughtfully updated for the contemporary connoisseur.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

While Piaget offered a two-tone configuration from the very beginning in 1979, these timepieces are rarely seen today—once the preferred choice of the stylish who demanded a unique blend of elegance and everyday we arability.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

To the casual observer, the interplay of brushed white gold and yellow gold might even suggest stainless steel. But this was never the case from the House of Gold, where precious metals remained the only acceptable canvas for horological artistry.

The Two-Tone’s revival speaks to modern collectors' evolving appreciation for watches that balance sporting spirit with refined versatility. For those who embody Piaget’s every day Extraleganza—where style, sport, and elegance meet.

ABOUT PIAGET

Piaget epitomizes daring creativity – a quality that has continued to permeate through the Maison since its beginnings in 1874. From his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name. In the late 1950s, Piaget unveiled the ultra-thin movements that would later become the Maison’s trademark and the cornerstone of the Alti-plano collection. As a true innovator of the watch and jewellery world, Piaget strongly believed in creativity and artistic values. It is within the walls of our “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” where master artisans continue to harness rare skills that have been preserved and perfected from generation to generation, transforming gold, stones and precious gems into dazzling works of art. Through its pursuit of masterful craftsmanship, the Maison has created emblems of daring excellence channeled into its collections including Piaget Altiplano, Piaget Polo, Limelight Gala, Possession, Sunlight, Piaget Rose and Extremely Piaget.
