Founded in 2004 by Stefan Kudoke, one of the youngest watchmakers in Germany to earn the prestigious Meisterbrief at just 22 years old, KUDOKE has earned international recognition for its distinctive interpretation of traditional craftsmanship. As both an AHCI-member and GPHG laureate, Stefan Kudoke has shaped the brand’s signature style, defined by refined hand-finishing and mechanical ingenuity. Each timepiece is meticulously crafted using traditional techniques and finished entirely in-house.

This mastery of watchmaking was most recently reaffirmed in 2024, when the KUDOKE 3 “Salmon” received a GPHG accolade — underscoring the brand’s horological excellence, shaped over two decades of technical precision and artisanal craft.

Award-Winning Pedigree

This SHH Edition pays tribute to the KUDOKE 2 — the timepiece that earned Stefan Kudoke the “Petite Aiguille” award at the 2019 GPHG, marking a historic first for a German independent watchmaker. Building on that award-winning legacy, this SHH Edition is the first in the KUDOKE 2 series to feature the signature “Flakes” dial — a striking new combination exclusive to Sincere.

Making its debut in the KUDOKE 2 series, the SHH Edition unveils the “Flakes” dial in a delicate light champagne rosé hue.

Meticulously hand-engraved by skilled artisans, each dial is sculpted through the gradual carving of tiny flakes across its surface—shaping a textured landscape that dances with light and shimmers with brilliance at every subtle shift in movement. Crowning the dial at 12 o’clock, the rotating domed sky disc is a signature of the KUDOKE 2 collection, elevated with horological distinction.

Enabled by a dial-side modification of the in-house Kaliber 1, this 24-hour indication traces the arc of day and night through its meticulously hand-engraved and electroplated disc. The sunlit half gleams in warm rose tones, while the starry night side glimmers in cool rhodium—its moon, stars, and arrow marker are illuminated by blue Super-LumiNova.

Luminous detailing elevates the complication beyond function, evoking a sense of celestial wonder by casting an ethereal glow across the light champagne rosé dial, while improving legibility in low-light conditions.

Framing the dial and rotating domed sky disc are rhodium-plated chapter rings, where Roman and Arabic numerals stand in deliberate contrast. True to the 'HANDwerk' collection's distinctive design language, the KUDOKE 2 SHH Edition also features its signature infinity-shaped hour hand.

The exclusive special edition KUDOKE ∞ is equipped with a dial made of blue Goldstone and a hand-guilloched movement bridge, which literally demonstrate the infinite possibilities of the art of watchmaking.

The Goldstone dial, also known as aventurine glass, catches the light in a fascinating way and creates a sparkling interplay that catches the eye. Goldstone, a glass interspersed with fine copper particles, gives the dial a unique shine and a profound texture reminiscent of the mysteries of the universe.

However, the centerpiece of this extraordinary watch is the hand-guilloched movement bridge. The finest lines adorn the white rhodium-plated bridge and form a pattern that, starting from the frosted balance cock, is reminiscent of a shining star. Every detail, from the intricate lines to the complex patterns, is a tribute to traditional craftsmanship and reflects the dedication to perfection for which Kudoke is renowned.

The shape of the hands of the "KUDOKE ∞" also picks up on the theme of infinity. As with the existing models in the HANDwerk collection, the hands are designed in the shape of infinity signs, making the watch a truly harmonious work of art.

Stefan Kudoke

„More than 15 years ago, I said to my wife, 'I have a crazy idea: I will manufacture my own wat-ches!'“ At that time, Stefan Kudoke was a student who already had finished his master-watchmaker's degree and had worked at renowned brands like Glashütte Original, Breguet, and Blancpain be-fore.

With the founding of his eponymous brand in 2008, Stefan pursued his dream full-time and made a name for himself as a creator of exceptionally artistic hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved timepieces among his KUNSTwerk collection. Of the emergence of his second collection, the HANDwerk line, Stefan explained, "After more than 10 years, I refined my skeletonizing skills to their utmost, and I found myself in a position where I wanted to develop my watchmaking skills further. To use old techniques and keep the practical know-how of traditional watchmaking alive has always been very important to me." And he brought this to fruition with the first two models of his new collection: KUDOKE 1 & 2.

With his first own movement, Stefan has fulfilled his dream. Valuable lessons were drawn from the old masters, specifically those of the German-English traditional handcraft of precision watchma-king. "During the development of the Kaliber 1, I was inspired by the design of historical English pocket watches whose use of forms I incorporated into my movement. Ages ago I bought an old English pocket watch movement that lay unused in a drawer for a long time. One day it fell into my hands again, just as the idea of Kaliber 1 began to take shape."

As with his skeleton models, Stefan Kudoke sets great value upon the refinement of the watch components by hand. Be it the polishing of edges at bridges or steel parts, the engravings or the surface treatment of the wheel bridge using a special grinding technology – all steps during the finishing process are carried out by hand exclusively. This is how handcrafted pieces of art are created - in small volumes and with great care and attention to detail.

In 2019, Christopher Daaboul of EsperLuxe first met with Stefan Kudoke at Baselworld’s dedicated AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) space.

This led to the first EsperLuxe special edition collaboration – the Kudoke 2 Grüner Wald Sonderedition (Green Forest Special Edition).

After four years, EsperLuxe and Kudoke bring back the Grüner Wald (Green Forest) dial and are proud to unveil another exclusive collaboration – the Kudoke 3 Grüner Wald Sonderedition II.

The name for this Esperluxe exclusive timepiece relates to the dial’s color, a deep textured green inspired by Stefan’s forest surroundings in the German watchmaking haven of Saxony. On the dial, the steel hands are flame tempered brown to complete the color palette of the forest.

But more than dial color variation, this special edition is about the brand and the region’s specialty: hand-engraving. Going above and beyond the standard engraving found on the Kudoke main bridges, the entire mainplate of this timepiece features a relief engraving of a traditional oak leaf design.

The K3 pushes Kudoke to its next level. One of the biggest challenges for every watchmaker is retaining the design language established for a collection without new creations becoming aesthetically monotonous.

Here, the Kudoke K3 moves in a new direction while maintaining a strong connection to its predecessors.

While this timepiece has retained the same, “traditional” indication of minutes with a large hand and dial ring, it is the indication of hours that propels the collection’s evolution in the Kudoke 3.

Placed on an attached plate and divided into three dials on the level below the central dial, the hour is indicated with the help of a triple-armed hour hand – each hand with different lengths running between the two dials.

When one arm of the hand reaches the end of the hour scale, the next longer or shorter arm appears at the beginning of the next hour scale.

Hours 2, 6 and 10 are then shown twice on different scales before the current hand arm moves on.

This is inspired by a combination of an old english pocket watch (for the upper dial) and the Glashütte Original Panoretropgraph with a three-tier countdown function, a piece Stefan worked on during his time in the atelier for prototypes and complications at GO.

As with previous models, the understated 39mm stainless steel case with classic onion crown and 10.3 mm case height provides an appropriate setting for this classic yet extravagant watch.
