What’s the best way we can help those whose lives have been devastated
by the Ukraine war? By creating a unique timepiece – with all the
profits it generates going to the Red Cross in Ukraine.
The C63 Ukraine
LE is limited to 300pieces and boasts a dial that represents the
ancient colours of the 🇺🇦Ukraine flag. Meanwhile on the backplate, the
words ‘Слава Україні!’ (Glory to Ukraine!) have been engraved. Our goal
is simple: to raise £150,000 – it’d be fantastic if you can help us get
there.
The C63 Ukraine Limited Edition. Based on the C63 Sealander Automatic, all
proceeds from the watch will go to the International Committee Of The
Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine.
Limited to just 300 pieces, the C63

Red Cross. Of course, it’s you, our customers, who’ll be making the most
significant contribution if you purchase one of these unique

Writing time, transcribing the intangible, giving substance to the passing hours. For thousands of years, this has been one of the "impossible missions" assigned to the masters of time. From the pyramids of the City of Ur to the gnomons from China and lunar calendars engraved in rock, they have incessantly deployed their genius, inventiveness and even pugnacity in testifying to the passing of days and hours.
It is to this quasi-heroic work that URWERK pays tribute today with its new 100V Time and Culture line. Introducing the first episode based on an original idea of 👉SJX …
The new line of the 100V, dedicated to perceptions of time through the ages and cultures, has been named Time and Culture. "This line is about History, Cultures, our place beneath the stars, the research and observations that have been conducted around the world using the same sky above our heads as a source of knowledge. I am always fascinated to see that these unique observations, made thousands of kilometres away, have given birth to a universal language, that of time”, explains URWERK co-founder Martin Frei. We are therefore literally being treated to a journey through space-time. And to materialise such a journey, the UR-100V, combining indications expressed in minutes and kilometres, proved to be the ideal vehicle.
The first stop in the 100V Time and Culture line takes us to the lands of Central America, around the year 1479. The pediment of this timepiece features the motifs of the "Sun Stone", one of the most emblematic works of Aztec art, now preserved in the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City. This monolith is a sculpted disc approximately 3.6 metres in diameter. Imposing. Massive. This masterful work refers to the Aztec calendar, with the third circle representing the 20 days of the month, the fourth the 260 days of the year.
This pattern is therefore repeated on the copper-coloured dome of the UR-100V Time and Culture I. The result is exquisitely delicate. The milling cutter used for the engraving has a 0.05 mm-thin point. The work must therefore be admired with a magnifying glass to appreciate its precision. The ridge lines of the motif are satin-brushed, while the hollows are micro-sandblasted to obtain a velvety finish, in order to highlight the volumes and honour this priceless heritage.
Beauty, history and mysticism are intertwined. The universal significance of this new URWERK is further reinforced by learning that the source of inspiration for this piece comes from Singapore. Su Jia Xian, better known by his acronym SJX, put forward an idea to Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei three years ago: adding an extra dimension to the UR-100by closing the top just like on the first edition of the UR-103, creating something special that transcends space and time, literally and figuratively.
The UR-100V Time and Culture I has thus gained a foothold in Central America. FelixBaumgartner, co-founder of URWERK, adds, "This timepiece has several interpretative keys, starting with its obvious universal significance: it is inspired by the Aztec culture; it was made in Switzerland, based on an idea from Singapore; it will end up in the windows of a retailer whose nationality is not yet known, and it will appeal to an equally unknown watch lover. Yet it also conceals certain secrets. We have sprinkled our work with hidden references. The discerning eye will be able to make out a signature, an acronym, a Mayan numbering to be deciphered. It's a real treasure hunt.”
On this UR-100V from the Time and Culture line, a new piece of information is added to the hours and minutes display. Once the 60th minute has passed, the minutes hand disappears and reappears as a kilometre counter. It illustrates the 524.89kilometres covered every 20 minutes by any person located in Mexico.
This is the average speed of the Earth's rotation calculated at Mexico City. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Earth's revolution around the sun is displayed, i.e. 35,742 kilometres per 20 minutes. On the face of the UR-100V, hours and kilometres thus share the same status, the same scale of value. These units are lit up in incandescent blue when reading the hours.

PANERAISETS ITS SIGHTS ON THE NEXT GENERATION OF THE WEB
The watch brand of modern heroes introduces nits entry into Web3 in partnership with Arianee
An exclusive and limited edition NFT, will be created with the introduction of the Radiomir Eilean Experience Edition, a limited-edition watch available in only 50 pieces.
With their combination of strength and innovation, Panerai watches inspire their owners to choose the bold course and pursue uncharted territory. In keeping with that spirit of audacious exploration, the brand embraces novel technologies that extend compelling opportunities to its clients. To that end, an exclusive digital component unprecedented in the brand’s history will accompany every Panerai Experience Editionwatch.
A collection of exclusive and limited NFTs, will be created with the introduction of the Radiomir Eilean Experience Edition, a limited-edition watch available in only 50 pieces.
The 45mm watch unites the form of the 1930sRadiomir with bronze accents salvaged from the Eilean during its restoration, and Panerai will invite buyers on a journey aboard the boat along the Amalfi Coast.
True to the Radiomir heritage inside and out, the Radiomir Eilean
has a hand-wound movement like its ancestors. Integrated in a case
waterproof to 10 bars (approximately 100 meters), this caliber with a
3-day power reserve was designed and developed at the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
Resilient and stable thanks to the presence of a bridge with dual supports, Caliber P.6000 is
equipped with a device that stops the balance wheel when the crown is
pulled out and features a three-day power reserve provided by a single
barrel.
Each purchaser will receive from Panerai one of the 50 Panerai Genesis NFTs associated with Radiomir Eilean watch in a unique cryptographic wallet allowing them to truly own this non fungible token. Buyers will find within this collectible an evolutive, one-of-a-kind artwork produced exclusively for Panerai by an NFT artist. The digital asset will unlock exclusive content directly related to the Panerai Experience Edition watches, and will evolve as the experience unfolds to reveal the art piece.
Each NFT will be uniquely time stamped to reflect the specificities and uniqueness of each buyer’s experience and become a perfectly unique NFT blending art and experience. Starting from the Eilean Experience in June in the Amalfi Coast, sailing the Mediterranean on the historic yacht Eilean, this first of its kind use of NFTs by Panerai will define a new frontier in the possibilities offered by the technology.
Owners of one of the Genesis NFTs, will have priority access to all future web3 initiatives from Panerai and will be invited to enjoy exclusive services, events and offerings from the brand.
To guide the brand’s entrance into this revolutionary technology, Panerai has partnered with Arianee, the leading end-to-end web3 solution for brands. Arianee enabled Panerai’s web3 strategy and allows brands to tokenize, distribute and leverage value to transform their relationships with their communities in the decentralized internet.
“Panerai responds to the needs of the world’s most daring heroes, whether their journeys take them to the deepest reaches of the ocean or beyond the planet’s atmosphere,” says CEO Jean-Marc Pontroue . “Technology is the next frontier offering limitless potential, and Panerai is at the leading edge in that arena too. Through the creation of our first NFTs, the brand will use dynamic new measures to respond to our customers and allow them to enhance the ownership of their treasured Panerai watches.”
This inaugural offering from Panerai represents the beginning of a deepening engagement in the world of Web3. In time, every Panerai watch will be issued a Digital Passport, as a service to protect its valuable, singular identity, maintain an open line of communication with the brand and unlock benefits and services.
Its utility will be manifold: these NFTs will provide definitive proof of ownership and deliver access to an enhanced client experience with benefits and services that begin immediately and unfold continually. For Panerai, the relationship with its clients begins with building ingenious watches that are companions for adventure and never ends.

The 👿WAR in Ukraine 🇺🇦is of great concern to
all of us at Hanhart, and our thoughts are with the people who are
exposed to unspeakable suffering due to the aggression of vladimir putin.
In light of this severe situation, we want to show solidarity and
contribute to humanitarian efforts to bring aid and support to
Ukrainian refugees.
For this reason, we will auction the Hanhart 417 ES with serial number 1 from today on and donate the entire proceeds to
Germany´s Relief Coaliton “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”. To encourage as
many watch fans as possible, the auction will take place on eBay. We
have set Friday, 4rd of March 2022 as starting point for the seven-day
auction.
This is the first time in the history of Hanhart that the No. 1 of a
serially produced watch is not being exhibited in our museum, but
instead leaving the workshop in Gütenbach. With the 417 ES we have
deliberately chosen our most popular model to raise as much money as
possible with the auction.
The return of a legend
The reissue of our Hanhart 417 ES marks the return of a legend among wristwatches. More than 60 years ago, its historic model served as the first pilot’s chronograph for the German armed forces.
Today it combines the best design of the history with the most modern production techniques of our time. The result: a robust chronograph with an exciting history for everyday life and adventure.
THE LEGENDARY 417
Robustness, reliability and readability. Hanhart built the first pilot’s chronograph for the German armed forces based on these three criteria from the mid-1950s. The purpose of the 417 was uncompromising use on pilots’ wrists.
Hanhart supplied the German armed forces with the chronograph for almost ten years, until the brand concentrated on building hand stopwatches in 1963👇. The few remaining pieces of the original 417 have become some of the most sought-after vintage chronographs from Germany.
The 417 ES is a piece of living Hanhart tradition. Its fluted bezel rotates smoothly in both directions and its red position markings are reminiscent of the original from the 1950s.
The numbers and lettering of the dial in the characteristic bicompax layout as well as the symmetrical button arrangement were also taken from the historical model.
Like the historical model, the 417 ES has a hand-wound calibre. The radius of action of the historic 417 was severely limited outside the cockpit due to its small water resistance.
A black calfskin wrist strap with a leather underlay makes it comfortable to wear from day one. For extra comfort on the skin, the black calfskin strap has Alcantara on the inside.
A pin-buckle with the historic Hanhart logo ensures a good grip. For further design options, we also offer straps in dark and light brown.
Contemporary size, maximum wearing comfort
Our goal was to design the 417 ES as slim as possible so that it is present on the wrist but not over-proportional. Despite the heavily domed sapphire crystal, the thickness of the case does not exceed 13.3 mm. Its crown shows our historical Hanhart Logo.
We will, of course, balance the fees charged
by eBay to ensure that the final amount will fully benefit Germany´s
Relief Coaliton “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”.
