BREITLING – LADY Premier 36 Woman Collection

BREITLING – Lady PREMIER 36 Woman Collection 2025

BREITLING PRESENTS LADY PREMIER: DESIGNED TO
CAPTIVATE IN SHAPE AND COLOR

Lady Premier reimagines the brand's 1940s Premier Fantaisies models for today. Sculptural silhouettes, radiant hues, cascading diamonds, and ombré finishes come together in playful elegance. The collection captures the poise and unscripted spirit of the Lady Premier woman—honoring those who shaped the brand's past and those defining its future.

Long before men gave up their pocket watches, women had already embraced the wristwatch — and their influence has been shaping Breitling ever since. In the 1940s, Willy Breitling introduced the Premier line, elevating the chronograph from a tool of precision to an expression of style, with refined materials, elegant detailing, and even one of the first chronographs designed specifically for women. Later, his stylish and charismatic wife Beatrice would become his muse and a defining force in the brand's creative direction.

Breitling watches continued to grace confident, charismatic women through the decades — most famously Raquel Welch in the 1960s spy film Fathom. As Willy once said, “When a woman puts on her watch, her whole personality is magically transformed.”

That spirit lives on in the new Lady Premier collection. While it shares the dress-watch sensibility of the Premier line, Lady Premier introduces a new design language: fluid cases, ombré alligator straps, and dials that shimmer like silk. Even its name is a retro callback to Breitling's women's collections from the 1980s — think the Lady-J and Wings Lady.

Lady Premier is a new take on the elegant watch that's confident, feminine, and full of character, just like the woman who wears it,” says Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling.

The launch of Lady Premier rounds out Breitling's women's collection, ranging from sporty performance to this refined statement of elegance.

An expression of silhouette, shade, and surface

Inspired by the 1940s Premier Fantaisies models, its architecture nods to their avant-garde lugs and seamless case-to-bracelet flow. Pablo Widmer, Head of Product Design at Breitling explains: “Our signature style is modern retro. We started with an archival design that stirred emotion, and through updated curves, finishes, and tones, shaped it into something unmistakably up-to-date.”

The automatic 36 mm models in stainless steel feature rich dial colors and matching alligator-leather straps in gradient shades of Aubergine, Sage, and Dove Grey. An 18k gold version is paired with a gradient Chocolate strap. The watch houses the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10, an automatic movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve.

Crafted from stainless steel, the 32 mm models feature dials in mother-of-pearl, Ink Blue, and Midnight Black. They're fitted with a new tapered seven-row Chevron bracelet—its V-shaped pattern puts a feminine twist on the more linear men's Premier bracelet. Inside, Breitling's COSC-certified Caliber 77 SuperQuartz™ movement ensures flawless precision.

Diamonds cascade from lug to bezel in organic curves. On the dial, two finishing styles — satin-soleil at the center and on the rehaut, and circular brushing around the indexes — create a luminous, ever-shifting surface. Minimalist numerals, lozenge hands, and a sculptural crown complete a look that wears like jewelry.

As part of Breitling's “mission to do better,” precious materials are considered with integrity. The collection is crafted with responsibly sourced gold and traceable lab-grown diamonds.

Celebrating effortless confidence

With Lady Premier on the wrist, confidence comes naturally. This campaign celebrates the woman who wears it — effortless, charming, and unapologetically herself. Whether she's out with friends, chasing a big idea, or taking on the city, she brings ease, elegance, and a touch of fun to everything she does.

Starring models Meghan Roche and Shahed Elnakhlawy, and surfer Mason Barnes, the campaign captures the Lady Premier woman in all her spontaneity and style.

BREITLING – Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Centenary Platinum Edition

 BREITLING MARKS SCOTT CARPENTER’S
CENTENARY WITH PLATINUM

NAVITIMER COSMONAUTE

To celebrate 100 years since the birth of the American spaceflight pioneer, Breitling unveils the 50-piece limited-edition Navitimer Cosmonaute – the first Swiss wristwatch in space.

On May 24, 1962, Scott Carpenter orbited the Earth three times as part of NASA’s Mercury-Atlas 7 mission – becoming only the second American to do so. On his wrist: a one-of-a-kind Navitimer, custom-built by Breitling for space.

Its chronograph and signature slide rule had made it an indispensable tool in the cockpit. But space called for something different.

Prior to his mission, Carpenter wrote to Breitling asking for a custom Navitimer with a few special modifications: a wider bezel for use with gloved hands, a stretch-metal bracelet to fit over his space suit, and, most famously – a 24-hour dial. In orbit, where the sun rises and sets every 90 minutes, this 24-hour display would keep him grounded in time.

It was a challenge that third-generation founder Willy Breitling couldn’t refuse. The result was the Navitimer Cosmonaute. Delivered just days before lift-off, it became the first Swiss wristwatch in space.

Now, six decades later, Breitling honors that era-defining journey – and the man behind it – with a platinum tribute to one of the great names in space exploration.

The new Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Centenary celebrates 100 years since the late astronaut’s birth on May 1, 1925. The deep blue dial evokes the color of Earth as seen from space – vivid, saturated, and unforgettable – while the crisp white slide rule recalls its swirling cloud cover.

That same blue carries through to the matching alligatorleather strap, secured with a white-gold folding buckle. Limited to just 50 pieces, this edition is the ultimate tribute to Carpenter and his historic Mercury-Atlas 7 mission.

Breitling has been part of some of the most important moments in watchmaking, but sending the first Swiss wristwatch into space is one of our proudest achievements,” said Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling. “Willy Breitling didn’t hesitate when Scott Carpenter asked for a watch built for space; he made it happen. That spirit – being innovative, taking risks, pushing limits – is how we still operate today.

THE CENTENARY COSMONAUTE

The Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Centenary is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B02, a manual chronograph with a 24-hour display. The handwound movement isn’t just a tribute to the original – it also performs where automatics may falter. Not essential for most, but reassuring if the next trip involves zero gravity.

The COSC-certified movement offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve and is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Unique bridge engravings commemorate Carpenter with the inscriptions “Carpenter,” his capsule “Aurora 7,” “3 orbits around the Earth,” and the name of NASA’s first astronaut group “Mercury 7.” Additional caseback engravings read “First Swiss wristwatch in space,” “One of 50,” and “Scott Carpenter Centenary 1925-2025.”

At 12 o’clock, the dial bears the winged logo of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) – highlighting the Navitimer’s historic role as the official watch of the world’s largest pilots’ club since its development in 1952

The watch features three subdials for running seconds, chronograph minutes, and hours, along with a discreet date window at 6 o’clock. Mushroom pushers ensure smooth operation, while a bright red chronograph seconds hand enhances legibility when measuring elapsed times.

The timepiece is presented in a luxurious wooden box, with the interior marked “First Swiss wristwatch in space. May 24th, 1962.” Accompanying the display is a replica of Carpenter’s Mercury 7 name badge.

CUSTOM-MADE FOR CARPENTER

The original Cosmonaute was damaged upon splashdown. After landing 250 nautical miles (460 km) off course in the Atlantic, Carpenter spent three hours in a life raft awaiting rescue. During that time, salt water corroded the dial.

Willy Breitling replaced the watch, and the original remained in the brand’s archives – untouched and unseen – until 2022, when it made its first public appearance for the 60th anniversary of Carpenter’s mission. It was later displayed at Breitling’s Then & Now pop-up museum in Zurich as part of the brand’s 140th anniversary. Fittingly, the corrosion on the dial has taken on the appearance of a distant planetary surface.

To celebrate the new limited edition and the final week of Breitling’s 140th-anniversary pop-up museum, a special event was held on site. There, Willy Breitling’s son Gregory – who had been just a boy when the Cosmonaute was created – shared the story. His recollections offered a rare glimpse into the decision-making, creativity, and sheer speed with which his father responded to Scott Carpenter’s request.

Though damaged, that original endures as a powerful artifact from the dawn of space exploration and a bold new direction in Swiss watchmaking. With the new centenary edition, Breitling revives a pioneering timepiece, while inviting a new generation to rediscover the spirit of adventure that carried Scott Carpenter into orbit, and into history.

BREITLING RELEASES THE NAVITIMER B19 PERPETUAL CALENDAR CHRONOGRAPH WITH AN ICE-BLUE DIAL

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

The newest Navitimer shines with a radiant ice-blue dial, platinum bezel, stainless-steel case, and Breitling’s perpetual calendar chronograph manufacture movement, the Caliber B19, previously released only as part of a limited anniversary series.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

For over 70 years, Breitling’s legendary Navitimer has been instantly recognizable by its circular slide rule, notched bezel, and chronograph function. As a watch that’s on every collector’s list as one of the greatest of all time, now the Navitimer gets a serious boost to its functionality with the manufacture Caliber B19, Breitling’s first perpetual calendar movement, featuring day, date, month, and moonphase. Only slight adjustments are required to keep it running for a full century.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Beloved by celebrities including Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg, the Navitimer was designed in 1952 for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). It was to become a watch synonymous with the jet age.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Known as the first wristwatch flight computer, the circular slide rule could perform all onboard calculations. And while it began as a practical tool-watch for pilots, its influence did not end with aviation. It became a style icon for its original design.

Now the Navitimer comes equipped with Breitling’s first exclusive perpetual calendar chronograph movement, the Caliber B19, released only last year as part of Breitling’s 140th anniversary celebrations. This newest Navitimer features an ice-blue dial, complemented by a platinum bezel, in a 43 mm stainless-steel case, complete with illustrated moonphase at 12 o’clock.

The mushroom pushers enable easy use of the timekeeping functions, while the open case back makes it possible to marvel at the movement. The Navitimer B19 comes with the options of a black alligator leather strap with a comfortable folding buckle, or a seven-row stainless-steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp.

Breitling CEO Georges Kern says, “It takes a lot for us to use the word icon, but the Navitimer has earned it. Combined with the perpetual calendar chronograph movement, the B19 is a tour de force, never missing a beat for a full century. It’s a watch that will keep time for generations.

The Caliber B19, Breitling's first perpetual calendar manufacture movement

The Caliber B19 is the latest evolution in the brand’s move towards Breitling-exclusive movements, which began with the 2009 release of its flagship Manufacture Caliber 01— considered the gold standard of chronograph movements.

The B19 combines Breitling’s chronograph specialty with a calendar complication that self-corrects for leap years and months of 28, 30, and 31 days.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

In addition to rigorous independent accuracy tests to achieve COSC certification, the Caliber B19 undergoes a 16-year aging simulation that includes, among other extreme challenges, 100,000 crown winds, 3,456,000 weight turns, and 60,000 shocks at 500G.

Click, to see the large size. BIG FOTO

Designed and assembled at Breitling’s Chronometrie, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the Caliber B19 offers a stunning 96-hour power reserve and requires only minor adjustments to stay up to date for the next hundred years.

This new ice-blue Navitimer B19 marks the first time this movement has been available outside a limited series, elevating the legendary watch to a new tier of timelessness—built to last for generations.
