Swiss watchmaker Hublot is all set to make its mark stronger in Russia with the limited edition King Power model called King of Russia. Limited to just 25 pieces the watch comes in a 18-carat King Gold 48 mm casing. Sporting a white dial, with the famous Kremlin’s towers star, the watch comes with an openworked chronograph movement.
The watch is equipped with a chronograph, which control buttons are placed aside at the 2 and 4 o’clock. 30-minute chronological pointer occupies at the 3 o’clock position, 12-hour pointer is at the 9 o’clock position and 6 o’clock position is the second hand. Between grades 4 and 5 is the date of the aperture. Black fluorescent compound is applied on hands and hour markers.

At the back you can see an emblazoned with a of St. Basel’s Cathedral design in gold on a white background, encircled by an engraved inscription that says KING OF RUSSIA – Special edition. Running with the Hublot caliber HUB4214 movement, the watch comes with 10 meters of water resistance and a 42-hour power reserve. The chronograph is finished with black Hornback alligator leather strap stitched on black rubber and an 18-carat King Gold King Power deployant buckle.

   True to the Bell & Ross philosophy, the aviation collection is inspired by aircraft cockpits, where each instrument is a reference point in terms of legibility, reliability and performance.  The attitude indicator, a vital instrument in air navigation, makes it possible to monitor the aircraft’s position relative to the horizon, regardless of visibility conditions. Bell & Ross designers have borrowed the graphic design of the attitude indicator to create an original and innovative display.

LEGIBILITY ENHANCED BY GRAPHIC DESIGN
• A dial on two levels
·· In the background, the dial (A) comprises, similar to the original instrument, two parts representing the sky, in gray, and the earth, in black. These two parts are separated by a white horizon line marking the 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock axis.
·· In the foreground, the raised dial (C) with index marks provides optimal legibility of the hour graduations. With its bridge at 12 o’clock(D), it conceals the attachment of the hands and is reminiscent of the shape of an aviation instrument.
··Between these two levels, two hands of different shapes provide instantaneous legibility of the hours (B) and minutes (E). A window at 12 o’clock enables them to remain visible when they disappear below the bridge of the raised dial.

• The two hands echo the style of the original gauge, both in their minimalist graphic design and their oscillating movement.
• The hands and the index marks are covered in a white photo-luminescent coating that contrasts with the black of the dial, echoing the legibility principles of professional aviation instruments.
